Alcatraz Jail-Hostel

Hostel barato. Nenhum quarto é isolado e só há uma casa de banho e um chuveiro. Tivemos um problema em deixar as malas antes da hora do check-in, como tínhamos combinado, mas no geral correu bem.

Leuk hostel! En wordt continu gepoetst! Midden in OldTown, dus alles op loopafstand! Enige opmerking: internet is af en toe iets trager.. maar daarvoor kom je niet naar Tblisi!

The manager is nice, but he stays there all the time which is weird that the owner runs the place this way. Main problem is that the sink room is separate from the toilet room - this automatically means that if anyone is having a shower you are obliged to wash your hands in the kitchen sink after wiping your ass!

Coole Einrichtung, man kommt sich vor wie im Knast. Allerdings sind die Pritschen dementsprechend. Nur wenige Meter vom Meidan-Platz entfernt, eine gute Adresse für Nachtschwärmer. Sehr schöner Holzbalkon mit Blick auf die Stadt.Vermisst habe ich einen kleinen Kiosk um sich noch ein Mineralwasser oder eine andere Kleinigkeit zu holen.

The owner is kind and considerate, the place is super clean, the staff is unobtrusive but there when you need them. The location is ideal, good neighborhood in old Tbilisi, 5-10 minutes from The Mother of Karli, and the Botanical Garden. An easy walk 15 minutes down to Liberty Square and you can take the metro anywhere you want. Can’t say enough how appreciative of the owner i am, worth the visit if you’re looking for a place to stay.

I booked a ‘4 Bed Mixed Dorm Ensuite’, there was no ensuite, only one bathroom and one toilet in the whole hostel. A staff member (tall skinny man) behaved very inappropriately. As I was brushing my teeth over the sink, he came up to me in very close proximity and stared at me without saying anything. I asked him if there was a problem, he didn’t respond, kept staring, then walked a few steps away and started taking photos of me. He made me very uncomfortable several times and I left ea...

My favorite hostel I’ve stayed at to date (I’ve been to over 30). Ideal location, incredibly clean, nice staff, great value, and it has some character to it. I could not recommend it more
