Really nice hostel. Not social at all, there are even Philippino families. It’s nine minutes walking from white beach and a quick grab to alona. The pool is amazing and also full of palm trees. No hot water but a lot of pressure, good shower. Rooms are nice and beds are comfy. Only down: blankets are extra charge, bed linen is included. Personal is a 10, really nice and helpful. Don’t do the countryside tour, not social. Go by scooter or tuk tuk, tour is not worth it. Resta...
Really friendly staff who will help you with anything, the rooms are clean and modern as is the pool area. The restaurant does nice food all day and has a nice atmosphere with the pool table
I am surprised how amazing this hostel was! I also think this was the comfiest bed I’ve ever been on! Everything was perfect except there was no hot shower which was okay because of the heat on the island lol. Enjoyed and loved my stay here, kudos to all the staff for being so kind, nice, and warm! Me and my friends are highly recommending this but also lowkey wanna gatekeep the place haha.
The exterior, common area and bar where nice. However the room smelled moldy, was stuffy as the air conditioning didn’t seem to work great. The bathrooms are not very clean, only cold water in the showers. There was no socializing.
Prima verblijf als je wil relaxen bij het zwembad of wil snorkelen op whitebeach maar er is voor de rest weinig te doen in de buurt. Wel mega schoon en goede faciliteiten
It was nice overall and pretty clean, just not very social. It didn’t have a strong atmosphere particularly. One thing about Panglao though is the air quality is not very good especially in the dry season, so I found myself confined to the air conditioned dorm most of the stay.
sehr zu empfehlen!!! die mitarbeiter sind wirklich toll, bauen ehrliche gespräche auf und man fühlt sich sehr umsorgt. das hostel ist etwas ruhiger und nicht unbedingt dafür geeignet um mega viele leute kennenzulernen und zu feiern. zu erholung aber wirklich eine 10/10. direkt nah am strand gelegen und nur ein paar minuten mit dem roller (den man im hostel mieten kann) vom zentrum entfernt! würde immer wieder kommen (vor allem für den süßen streuner hund um den sich das hostel kümmert ...
I had a very nice stay at Red pic nic hostel ! The dorms are clean and comfortable, the food is really good and they have a nice pool and garden. You can rent a scooter directly at the hostel. The staff was really helpful, giving advice on activities to do around the island. I forgot my ID and they helped me get it delivered quickly at the ferry port in Tagbilaran. Thanks again ! I recommend ++ :)

Really nice hostel, felt like a hotel. A lot of locals and families here rather than many backpackers. It was nice to chill but if you’re looking for somewhere social it’s probably not here. The staff were nice and helpful, I booked the countryside tour through them. This isn’t the hostel’s fault but there were many Filipinos staying in the dorm who would snore all night so didn’t manage to get much sleep in the 5 nights we were here 😂
Really nice hostel , pool area is so nice and the beds are comfy. Showers were very dirty and also I think a lot of locals stay here so be prepared to be woken up at 5 am every morning with no respect for other backpackers in the room. Staff were so lovely though especially the ones at reception and at bar and all complaints were dealt with immediately! Would stay here again u just need noise cancelling headphones
Very peaceful and chilled hostel, slightly away from everything but a great location if you have a scooter. Pool is really nice as well!
Nice place to chill with a good bar and pool area. Pretty quiet most of the time with no real atmosphere. Food is very over priced for what it is.

a quiet place to stay perfect to relax if you’re wanting somewhere chill, vibe felt more similar to that of a hotel - pool area was nice etc but not very sociable. rooms and bathrooms were decent
This was a comfortable stay and it’s very nice with its pool, but it gives more hotel vibes than hostel. Also the restaurant food was too overpriced sadly- though we would’ve eaten there if around the 250 mark for convenience but no more.
We had a great stay at this hostel. The highlight was the pool area, which we could have easily spent the whole day relaxing by. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although the location isn’t walking distance from many bars or restaurants, it is easy to rent a bike or hail a tricycle.
Das Hostel ist wirklich sehr schön gemacht und alle sind total nett. Leider haben sie PHP1200 für die Bohol Countryside Tour verlangt, auf der alle anderen Teilnehmer mit sagten sie hätten PHP600 (+270 für Eintritte = 870) gezahlt. Es liegt aber quasi direkt am duamluan Beach und zum alona Beach kann man auch innerhalb einer Stunde laufen.
Nice staff, good place to chill. Helped me with my broken moped. Hot shower would have been good
