Seaview Hills - Backpackers Place Bohol

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very nice cat at hostel. Pool large and clean. Bathrooms pretty awful, terrible drainage in the showers and cold water showers only, bathrooms not cleanly at all. Location quite hard to get around without a bike, grab only worked once. Air con very poor quality in room. No side light in room and mattresses extremely thin, no hangers in wardrobe, needs some TLC

Very good stay Staff helpful and generous, the mango float was stunning Good place for a layover between 2 days of travel but nothing much to do in the area We stayed there because our ferry was canceled, very good place to chill at the pool

Highly recommend! The staff were all so lovely and helpful! The hostel is social, in such a good location as well. Bathrooms and rooms were clean.

No atmosphere, basically a shed in someone’s property which is barely lit and smells awful of damp. Holes in the sheets, left after one night. Staff were kind enough to refund me the night I didn’t stay. So far from everything, the pool is up loads of stairs and is just part of the owners house. Avoid at all costs.

Most amazing stay with Seaview. I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff was absolutely amazing! I got there pretty late and absolutely exhausted. They upgraded me to a private room for free so I could get some good rest. They assisted me in getting late night food delivered. The next morning they helped me find a cheap ride to the Tarsier Sanctuary. The driver they found me was amazing and waited for me there and then helped me get a ride to the other side of the island. Amazing hostel!

Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit im Seaview. Das ganze Personal ist super nett. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

We took a private room for 3 nights. Overall is good and the swimming pool is very cool with the view. We find the location a little bit far from everything but it was very calm so appreciable !

Has potential to be a very nice hostel, however the beds are very squeaky, the ac has a musty smell and the bathroom facilities are dirty and full of bugs. The owner and staff there are all very helpful and lovely however the manager made us very uncomfortable when he demanded us play for money after inviting us to play pool which he is very good at, he then got snotty when I refused. The location itself isn’t great but it’s a quick drive away from everything and they offer a good price on b...

Was supposed to stay 2 nights but extended it to 4 days. Awsome staff, owner, and Tobias. And also really nice pool for the lazy mornings. You will also sleep really good because of the calm neighborhood

Great place to stay!! You should definetely get to know this place while you are in the Philippines ,it felt like home. The owner tries to make the stay unforgettable.

Wouldn’t recommend this hostel for a few reasons - It’s in the middle of nowhere so you have to get a bike to go anywhere and it’s far from the main town/beaches - No atmosphere at all, we were the only ones there - There’s no restaurant as advertised so you have to go out for everything, even drinking water - The pillows were the worst we have ever had, it was better sleeping without it - The owner makes you play pool ‘for beers’ when he is clearly a very good pla...
