I loved it!! The only issue for me personally was our rooms weren’t ready on time and they didn’t let us know until we came back, other than that it was awesome, 10ish minute walk to the beach, super close to nightlife and a bunch of beautiful cafes

This hostel was fine. Their common spaces could definitely be improved. Ex: the kitchen space is disorganized, not equipped for the size of the hostel, and very dirty. The couches are old and stained. The 4 person dorm room I stayed in didn’t have a full shower door, so when you showered at full power it would flood the bathroom and hallway. The employees were accommodating with this issue. In addition, there were no organized activities. This hostel is truly just a place t sleep.

I have not received the security deposit I had made during my check-in. It is unfair that it has been more than ten days to my checkout and the money still hasn’t reached me.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels. This was the best of the lot. Top marks for spacious rooms, clean facilities, and quiet atmosphere -- at least while I was there.

Good location and a regular hostel overall, but for some reason not a lot of backpackers/ tourists but many older/ unsocial people in not just my room. One strange woman who seemed a bit like a drug addict or alcoholic, would be good to put an max age gap to keep it a young and social place. Freindly staff, but (also bc of the people staying) so dirty, esp the bathrooms. If it stays like that i would not book again

Okay for a few nights

The location was great, since it was very centric and most of the places were not more than a 20 min walk, the hostel it self was fine, so was the room, the only thing that ruin my stay, was that there were baby roaches at the shared kitchen, everything else seemed clean but wouldn't come back for that reason.

Horrible wifi, extremely hot at night, roommate ruined our entire experience here. Extremely overpriced for what it is - super old crappy building that smells funky. No safe either. Also woke up to a cockroach on my bed. Genuinely the only good thing about this place is its location.

It's in a great location, just a bit of a hike up the hill. The bar was always very busy and didn't support meeting new people. The happy hour prices are good, but some was really expensive. Office staff was good except for the one outside smoking even though she knew there were 3 of us there needing to check out. All of our bathrooms were out of hand soap and the shower gel.

All in all I had a wonderful stay at Vertigo Hostel! I didn't use the common areas much, but the cleanliness was okay. The rooms are very basic and there could be some hangers for jackets or towels. But it was amazing to have the toilet and bathroom in the room and just share with fewer people. I met super nice people in the hostel and I would def stay there again! The reception has locks for 10€ caution which was really practical!

Mein Bett war noch komplett schmutzig mit Steinen und Erde drin. Ich musste es zweimal melden bis jemand kam. Erst später am Abend bekam ich neue Lacken, musste es aber selber wechseln und bekam nichts für die Decke. Keine Entschuldigung. Die Betten wackeln extrem, sodass man oben fast nicht schlafen kann. Die Lage war aber sehr gut. Der Preis ist nicht gerechtfertig

The one thing I want to complain about is the kitchen and the breakfast. The kitchen appliances are dirty which is partially because there are noten enough rying racks. Also the breakfast for 7€ is not worth it. You get one type of cereal and a small assortment of condiments. Also, you have to do your own dishes. The rest is good. Bedrooms and toilets are clean and comfortable. Also, the common area is very cozy.

Big shout out for the great staff for sure (super efficient and kind)! For the rest the position is really good and the prices low. Didn't find a good atmosphere among the guests, but, for the rest, complete hostel experience (no towels, not sure if clean sheets, short noisy bed but where you can hang your feet in the void). Basically a cheap place where to sleep and shower placed in a perfect spot which, in the end it's what it matters the most.

Good location, very close to the Vieux Port. The room setup is weird, it's on 2 floors: first floor is the bathroom and the lockers, second floor is where the beds are located. They have shaky metal beds, they make noise at every movement. The rooms are located at the end of some stairs so you have quite a climb up to your bed from the hostel's entrance. There is a small kitchen with 2 fridges but I haven't seen an oven or somewhere to cook. No real common area, lack of atmosphere

Cooles Hostel. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Die Bäder haben allgemein ein paar optische Mängel,was aber nicht sehr schlimm ist.
