Rio Elemento Ecolodge

El lugar excelente y lo que más me gustó fue la terapia ayurveda de frio y calor que hace el profesor de yoga (Andrés). Salí muy feliz y relajado, además de que me pareció a un excelente precio ya que es una terapia personalizada.

Rio Elemento is a perfect spot if you’re looking for a place close to town, yet just outside the hustle and bustle and it’s situated along the river. I also appreciated the free breakfast and free yoga with Andres 🙏

tithe location is really nice and super chill. But that's all the good I can say about this hostel. Me and my friend woke up with an extreme itchiness and a lot of weird bulbs and spots on our body. We checked our beds an literally found some bedbugs in our bed. When we told the staff they were lauging and denying the fact what we found the bugs in our bed. They saw the bugs and were lying that it actually was a bedbug. We didn't got a refund or something else. DON'T GO TO THIS HOSTEL!

The pictures of the place are not accurate - it has gone down hill significantly - but fridges full of beer! Saturday night was like trying to sleep at a rave. Yoga mats are worn out and filthy and the area to do it is a dirty, bumpy area covered with a fake turf mat. The pool is only 1/3 full and looks like it is water pumped directly from the river. The room I stayed in had a really gross bathroom. Pretty much every single tap/showerhead in the place is leaking. At breakfast I smelled sewage.

BED BUGS 🪳🚨 Our beds were infested with bed bugs, which were crawling on us in the night. Staff ignored us, lied to us, and even gaslit us by saying it was “a rumour” and “in our heads” - before admitting their long-term bug problem! We later found out the entire dorm before us had left due to bites, yet they still checked us in. We had to pay to disinfect all our belongings which they refused to refund. They knowingly let guests sleep in infested beds. Disgusting and completely...

Un lugar para descansar y reconectar con la naturaleza. El río que lo atraviesa y el santuario son ideales para meditar, sentir la energía de la sierra nevada para recargarse. También tiene un buen bar y espacios para compartir con gente de otros lugares y culturas que visitan Minca.

Do not stay — bed bugs. Great vibe, but our stay was ruined by a serious bed bug infestation and poor management. The owner blamed us despite prior reports, reused the room after minimal cleaning, dismissed the issue as “normal,” and we had to push for a refund. When I returned to take photos, the owner grabbed my arm and threatened to call the police. Really scary. Would avoid this place.

Got bedbugs while staying in this hostel (room Fuego). Do not book here until they’ve fixed this. It seems the staff were aware of this issue but still let us check into the room. It was also a hassle to get a partial refund, the owner was not understanding at all at first. His wife was way more understanding and handled it neatly. The location and amenities of the hostel were nice though. Not super social when I was there but maybe that was due to the group there.

The place is really nice until the night time when they play really loud music all night long, I couldn’t sleep and I was the furthest cabin away. It’s a peaceful place in the day time tho.

One of the nicest friendliest and cleanest hodtels ive stayed at. super helpful hosts that speak multiple languages. Very friendly !

Ich war im Eco Dorm, einem Schlafsaal, der sich draußen befindet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet. Der Fluss liegt direkt beim Hostel und ist perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück war lecker, allerdings sollte man nicht mit einer großen Portion rechnen. Das Hostel ist außerdem sehr einfach zu Fuß zu finden.

Very social hostel with a great atmosphere. Would 100% recommend.

They advertise this place as a chill hostel and tranquil vibe, but They play loud rap music really late into the night and I couldn’t sleep. Even from far away with earplugs. Also there are mosquitos everywhere.

Un hostel hermoso y enorme en un lugar mágico. Tiene un río que lo atraviesa con espacios para disfrutar sus orillas. Uruguayos y argentinos: para calentar agua hay que pedirlo a las personas que trabajan en la cocina, en el desayuno. Cuando fuimos no tenía jarra eléctrica ni donde calentar agua.

We stayed in the private twin room. There was no lock on the door from outside. The fan they provided didn’t work. The mosquito nets were dirty, with bogies on them. WiFi doesn’t reach the room and doesn’t work well even in reception. Swimming pool is dirty and foggy. Shower water is freezing and difficult to stand under for more than a few minutes. The bedsheets had dirt on them. Beds are not big enough for anyone close to six foot

El Rio elemento est un très bon point de chute calme tout en restant proche (5min à pied) de l’activité et du village de Minca.

Nice hostel to chill a bit and close to the city center. Not a party hostel. I would recommend improving the showers and facilities to be more comfortable.

el ambiente, la gente que llega al hostal es chévere, solo uno de los recepcionistas se la pasaba de mal genio y hasta decía palabrotas y solo pedimos una vez en el restaurante pq hubo una situación q por la tardanza en responder al pedido hubo mal entendido y luego nos hicieron sentir bastante incómodos.. pero el almuerzo estaba súper rico, pero en general, los demás bien, buena onda. Hay q tener en cuenta q se va seguido la luz en la zona y ya de por si, los cuartos compartidos son calie...
