Nomads Airlie Beach

Nice location and big hostel! The 2 pools were very nice. The thing is… i had 3 cockroaches in my room (1 in someone’s bed) and the kitchens en tables outside were dirty. This was the first time in Australia that i had cockroaches in my room so that makes my rating lower. They also don’t respond to the chat in the app. And my biggest other thing is: the facilities. The hostel only has common era’s outside. While my entire stay it was raining so the only other option was to go to my room...

The hostel was in such a great location, super vibey and clean! Teagan was so helpful and made our stay very comfortable, cannot recommend more !!!

Great hostel! Bàrbara at reception was really helpful and kind, answering all our questions and helping with activities.

Avoid this place! Worst hostel experience ever. Zero Wi-Fi in the room, which was super annoying. Then my food got stolen from the kitchen. When I asked for help, the staff was useless—they claimed they "don't have access" to the kitchen cameras. What a joke! Why even have them? On top of that, the kitchen equipment is total trash. Unhelpful staff and zero security. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Ellis was so beyond helpful with my stay, my Whitsundays tour gogmoved to another day so it messed up all my hostel bookings. But Eli’s helped me out right away and fixed the situation for me! Such amazing customer service!!!!!

the staff were so amazing! rebecca, rykell, and ellis at the front desk were all so friendly and kind! it is a very big hostel and resembles more of a campground, super nice though! rooms were great. bar right next door that hosts various events and specials for hostel goers!

Sydney was super helpful and made my bookings so much easier. This hostel is sprawling and has all the right ingredients for a good nights stay.

Some rooms are great, others are just okay. They all seemed clean though. The same cannot be said about the kitchen tho. Not enough cutlery and dishes for everyone, always some dirty dishes and pots laying around. It seemed like a lot of people didn’t really clean up after themselves. The pool area was nice.

Came here based off a recommendation, and ended up extending a bunch of times. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Beca and Ellis specifically helped me a bunch with my rooms as I waited for check in. Super friendly and helpful. A great place, and I’d definitely come back.

The best hostel in Airlie Beach! Very clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with all the amenities included. It feels more like a resort than a hostel. The reception staff are amazing especially Ellis!! 💕💕
