Skye Basecamp

Simply put the most amazing Hostel I've ever stayed at! Booked the private deluxe for me and a group of friends and we couldn't have asked for anything more, our stay on Skye was absolutely perfect, from the facilities to the staff, location and everything in between. Highly recommend and will most certainly come back here!

A great place to stay for many days as a base to explore Skye. Cat had great tips on places that were not flooded with other tourists. The kitchen is big and homely, as well as the common living room with pool table. Summary: would recommend!

This was the most wonderful accommodation with sea views. All the staff were so lovely and every room was well maintained. I cannot recommend this location enough and will definitely be returning at a later date. :)

Très belle vue depuis notre chambre. Magnifique organisation des parties communes dans la cuisine. Espace commun convivial avec le billard et la vue sur mer. On se sent comme à la maison. What a beautiful spot, this place looks out over the sea in a little town called Broadford. It is homely and cozy, with lots of little touches to make it feel so welcoming. A pool table, loads of books, guitars, games, great drying room, large kitchen, friendly staff. Our room overlooked the sea, which was such a beutiful view. We walked down to the fish n chips shop and sat looking at the sunset whilst eating them. I could have stayed a week here. A great base to explore, about an hour from Old...

Absolutely wonderful hostel. Especially surprised by the big and fully equipped kitchen and sweet staff. The beds were comfortable too. Would definetely come back.

Truly wonderful experience. The hostel is really clean, has a great kitchen with everything you need, and the atmosphere was also great. The people who worked there were really friendly and helped me with planning what to see on the island. Would definitely stay there again if I have the chance!

This place is absolutely 10/10. The common rooms are amazing and feel so welcoming. The owner was so lovely. He was so welcoming and was great to chat to, he’d even bought pizzas for the communal fridge for everyone to have. I would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful place to stay on skye! The common areas are large and very confortable

this is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was beyond nice - family run place. The facilities were clean. There were always people milling about and going on adventures and wanting to talk. The dining and common areas were a place of camaraderie. I would absolutely go back and stay here again!! They have a drying room too that was a game changer so nice.

Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend. Homely vibe with great views and facilities, including a drying room after a rainy hike. As the name says, an excellent base camp for exploring Skye, will happily stay again in the future.

The staff was super nice to us and very helpful! made sure we knew what we were doing and Cait was always there to give good advice! they also were super understanding and helpful when we messed up our reservations and fixed it for us for free
