Very kind and helping staff, and best price.

My stay here was fine, it did the job for 3 days. But the showers and toilets are filthy. The stairway also smells extremely damp it’s not nice. The coffee shop downstairs I saw a cat pee in the sink. The room itself was fine, the curtains provided privacy despite the fact they rattled loudly. Nice to have a safe in the bed though that was handy. The lady who checked me out was friendly, bless her

un buen lugar respecto a calidad-precio, comodo, personal amigable y cuentas con todo lo necesario. La unica razon de no darle 5 estrellas es la limpieza, es un poco desorganizado y nunca hay nadie en la cafeteria de abajo.

Top Location. Very Central and easy access to Metro and Bus. During our Stay it was under construction (which wasn‘t Communication beforehand), therefore there have been very loud noises from 8 am so it was impossible to sleep from then on. Additional the rooms weren‘t very soundproof. Over all clean, enough Space and little equipment. Definitely worth the Price. Check in was also easy.

This was a fine hostel. It had everything one needs while backpacking. Not overly social, however. If you are looking to make friends, I would look for consider other options.

Le personnel était sympathique et les voyageurs aussi. Les espaces communs étaient propres MAIS mon lit était sale avec des cheveux, poils et il était minuit 30 quand je m'en suis aperçue. De plus, j'ai vérifié s'il n'y avait pas de bêtes ou punaises de lit et depuis j'ai des piqûres de punaises de lit qui sont sur ma peau le lendemain quand je me suis réveillée à l'auberge de jeunesse

mostly locals staying here, location was good, single rooms were nice and affordable, staff was very friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were very dirty though (especially the toilets)

Very basic accommodation, no atmosphere, average location, and the staff don't speak English. The bathrooms need to be cleaner as well.

The staff were nice, the location was convenient. The bathrooms were kind of a bit dirty, but that’s fine. The rooms were a good size and the extras they provided you with; e.g. towel, toothbrush, shampoo were all a nice touch as well. Not the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, but definitely not the worst. I’d probably stay here again, I’d bring my own towel next time however.

Awesome stay , very clean and silent place near by attraction places , I really love to stay again . Staff is very supportive and respectful.

This is a good option for a short stay. However, it isn’t the most convenient. You have to register yourself when you arrive within 24 hrs, the hostel didn’t do that for you. The people’s park is a 25/30mim walk from the hostel. The bed mattress is very thin (and my bed foam had flattened in the middle making it quite uncomfortable). The wifi isn’t great. Despite the inconvenience the staff are helpful and it’s good value for money, but maybe only for a short stay.

A bunch of single small box rooms. good value for the price. The metro station is about 6/7 minutes walk.

Good, safe location. Private room was exactly as pictured and had everything you need! Very happy with my stay and definitely recommend :)

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful

The hostel is very badly soundproofed, so you hear every sound made in the hostel from your room. There is permanent beeping from the common room and the sounds of someone moving every piece of furniture in the place at 6am. The basics are okay: clean bathrooms, modern room. 7 min walk from a metro station, but boring surroundings and still need the metro to get anywhere. No atmosphere though, cafe is always empty and no talk in common room either.

Overall, the hostel is good to spend some days in Shanghai. I didn't find any foreigner, mostly Chinese people son don't expect to make a lot of friends or party in this hostel. They clean the facilities every day but of course if guests are not clean, then no matter how many times you clean them, they will always be dirty. The young guy in the reception that works the night shift is really helpful even if he doesn't speak English, he helped me to ask some taxis for example.
