Broadford Backpackers Hostel

Decent location (behind a funeral home is a bit off putting) and pretty good facilities (showers and toilets were decent and clean). They have free access washing machines which is a big plus. BUT room 9 had black mould all over the ceiling and walls and none of the rooms have bag lockers, only small personal item lockers in the hallway. Staff were great though!

Tout était très bon, vous pouvez vous stationner facilement, les machines à laver sont accessibles gratuitement ainsi que le sèche-linge, un vrai plus. Chambre confortable et douche agréable avec pomme de douche et de la pression, juste un manque d'espace pour mettre ses affaires.

Super séjour à Broadford, le staff est très sympa, les lits sont confortables et les sanitaires sont très propres. La cuisine est aussi partaitement équipée !

It was very dirty, we felt very insecure and the roof was leaking. worst hostel i’ve ever been to.

Property was nicely located near bus stops and a couple minutes walk to food and shops. The property itself was slightly dingy and rundown. Bathrooms were not well ventilated and smelled musty/moldy. The room we had was large and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bonus points to the laundry being free.

Tout était très bien. Emplacement top. Cuisine très bien. Dommage que les éviers étaient dans la chambre. Un vrai plus serait des rideaux au lit, une petite lampe individuelle et une tablette pour poser ses affaires.

Le rapport qualité prix est inadmissible. Le premier jour il n'y avait pas de papier de toilette. La vaisselle n'est pas rangée. C'est de loin le moins bon logement que l'on a eu depuis que nous sommes en Ecosse. Quel dommage car l'emplacement est bon.

Great little place in an active area with everything you need nearby. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Website said electronic payments were down and to take cash, this was not accurate, they definitely accepted payment by card. Don't forget to take a towel, otherwise will have to hire one for £3. Free washing and dryer machines was an absolute bonus.

Very cozy and friendly. Staff very kind and helpful. Very nice and clean rooms, bathrooms and showers. Not the cheapest one, but recommended!

The receptionist was really polite. The opposite is the case of his supervisor who dud not need to shout at me for requesting a refund of the overcharged I received, blamed on hostelworld by the supervisor who wanted me to claim the overcharge back from Hostelworld. This really has upset me. Not only was I overcharged, I was even overcharged on the regular price! The hostel was clean though I had to change room due to broken blind and window in other room covered in mold. This is a poor hostel.

Decent wee place

The good: great location, friendly staff and nice common room. The bad: the rooms get super stuffy and you can't open the windows while it's raining because they're built into the slanted roof instead of the walls - it's usually raining

A very clean and nice hostel in a nice village. Close to busstation and supermarket but still quite far from Portree and highlighted sightseeing points. I think its great when you have a car but if you are traveling by public transport its not that easy. Kitchen is big and wel equipped. There are multiple washing and drying machines. The common space is very nice and cozy. Night lights and an insect screen would make the rooms better.

Nice property located in broadford. Ample parking space and nice clean rooms.

Hermoso Hostel. La cocina es gigante. Tiene dos hornos y dos coockers y está muy bien equipada. También hay Lavarropas y secarropa. Los espacios estaban siempre limpios. Lo único malo es que la habitación en la que estaba tenía el techo en bajada y subirse a la cama implicaba golpearse la cabeza jaja tenía mala distribución de camas de dos pisos para esas habtiaciones. Tiene para estacionar sin cargo.

Stayed there for two nights from the 12/5 to 14/5. Great location. Quiet in the evening. Nice , clean room and a comfortable bed. Clean showers, toilets and kitchen/eating area. Nice TV room too.

It's easy accessibility and budget friendly features makes it the best in the Skye. The hostel was well maintained and the staff was very helpful.

Staff desagradable todos. La habitación individual es carisima y los colchon estan en mal estado. Luces para que funcionen tienes que girar la bombilla tu misma. Habitación mal aislada con humedades condensacion y malos olores. Ningun elemento en la habitación para dejar tu maleta o abrigos o efectos personales Tienes que hacerte tu misma la cama con sabanas Yo no volveria Lo unico bueno es la cocina

the stay was great! one of the only hostels we had on the whole trip that provided easy access to laundry facilities. however no laundry soaps or instructions so it was a bit confusing figuring out the settings on the machines. overall great stay in one of the bigger and more populated areas on Skye.
