This is an extremely basic Hostel. I've never seen such little water come out of taps. The showers, taps and bathrooms generally are dirty. They have the most ridiculous locks on the doors which mean people just leave the doors open for ease. The social area is just a sofa which is right outside the private rooms. The location is good but I really wouldn't recommend staying here. I can't emphasise how bad the shower/sink situation was. You could barely get enough water to brush your teeth
Had a great stay at Ohlala hostel! It has a homey vibe to it with seating to hang out with other travelers both inside and in front of the hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We also booked a Canyoneering tour which was incredibly fun. The bathrooms were decent. The beds were comfortable, night hours quiet and there was a well-functioning airco. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing staff, great location. Comfortable bed (always the most important thing) I recommend it, plus it's small so perfect.
Very good and cute hostel! Beds are comfortable, room was nice and cool. Showers could be cleaner and there was a strange smell. Staff was nice, but not the most attentive.

Stayed in the private room with shared bathroom. Room was clean and spacious, with great air con and plenty of storage. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot! Not social, but didn’t need it to be, great location in the centre of town👍🏽
Very cozy and clean, and the staff were kind and refreshed the CRs regularly! Only complaint was loud music being played by staff early in the morning, and the beds made alot of noise when you move even slightly. Still, would recommend this hostel!
Jess and her team are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area, they also helped me plan my onwards travel day from Moalboal to Siquijor. Beds in the dormitories are super comfortable and include privacy curtains. Washroom facilities all working great and are very clean. 10/10 hostel 🙂
Great hostel for a great price, was close to the main restaurant area and the beach as well! Staff was very kind, beds were comfy and the rooms were nice and clean. Would definitely recommend!💛
Loved our stay here! Our bed was super comfy and the hostel is well located in the Panagsama beach area 🙂 the staff are super helpful as well, and arranged canyoneering for us and a private taxi back to Cebu. It’s a small and cozy hostel, so it’s not a spot for partying or socialising, but you can v easily do that in the local bars in the area!
Lovely little hostel, very small with only 1 dorm and two privates, the room is perfect to sleep in and the staff are super helpful, would recommend for a couple nights in Moalboal
Slept Here for four nights, location was great and staff was kind. However, only small lockers to store some personal belongings. Small hostel, perfect if you are not looking for other travellers to chill with but a good night of sleep.
Location and room itself was good - however the staff were very unhelpful and knew little about the area. We had a medical emergency whilst staying here and as we had never been to the island before asked for help. They were uninterested and didn’t care when we needed them most (literally to use their phone to call an ambulance as it wouldn’t work on a uk sim) the lady just sat texting on her phone. Was a very stressful situation and expected some sort of guidance which was refused.
This hotel is in a fantastic location, surrounded by great restaurants and cafes, and just a short walk from the beach. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated having two pillows—a rare find! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Jacky for the great food recommendations and for assisting me in planning my transport to Siquijor. Highly recommend!
We stayed for 4 nights and honestly loved it! The dorm is only 6 beds so not too many people and the showers/toilets were always clean. The WiFi was good too as well as the aircon. We were even able to get laundry done which was ready in less than 24 hours and the hostel is nearby lots of good restaurants/ cafes etc.
Small but brilliant hostel. The staff are great - Jacky was always on hand to help with anything and Jess was really responsive. Re. location it’s on the main road in Moalboal so everything you need is in walking distance.

i loved my stay at this establishment. it's in a great location and everything was clean and safe. a special mention for the staff, who are so friendly and caring. i'd love to come back!
Super liebes und hilfreiches Personal :) einfach gehaltenes Hostel in guter Lage und für die Einfachheit sehr sauber. haben 2 Nächte im Dorm übernachtet und dort hat jeder seinen eigenen Platz für sein Gepäck und ein abschließbares Fach für die Wertgegenstände. Das einzige was nicht so toll war, war das Handtuch das wir erhielten, da es nicht richtig trocken gemacht hat aber kann auch Zufall gewesen sein Würden wieder hier übernachten☺️
