Not worth the £16 - this is just paying for the pool (the rooms aren’t worth it). The 8bed room was super crowded. There were no plug sockets or lights by the beds. The rooms and bathroom weren’t cleaned for at 3 days. The outside area including the pool is fab and the location is good too!
I loved my stay here!!! Go on that pubcrawl I’m telling you!!! 🤩
The hostel itself was nice but they played really loud music by the pool all day. It seemed like a party hostel with a lot of young travelers, who were in Philippines to party by the pool all day. That being said, the rooms were clean.
Was a lovely hostel, the staff were so helpful and kind. AC in the rooms was nice and cold. Only a short walk away from everything.
Don’t stay here if you are wanting a child free experience. There are small children playing in the pool and screaming. A two year old was sitting at the swim up bar, playing with the shot glasses, knocking over drinks and tipping water on phones. I also was in a room where two people came back at 3am and had VERY LOUD sex until about 4am. I told the hostel staff in the morning and they did nothing. I went into my room and surprised four hostel staff who were laying on our beds on their phones...
We enjoyed our stay at hat trick hostel, it is at the end of the bars / hotels so only a short walk into the centre but means it’s not too loud. Think it might be one of the only places in the area with a pool. Great AC and lovely staff, helped us book canyoneering (better prices than get your guide) and a private transfer from moalboal to Cebu city with a stop at a waterfall on the way. We would recommend this hostel (we stayed in a private room). Can’t comment much on the atmosphere
The staff were incredible here. Geezon, was the kindest man & helped me retrieve my bag after I left it on the bus! The whole place had a great vibe, clean and lovely rooms.
Fun sociablehostel with a great pool. No chill area that’s covered if it rains. Shower in the bathroom wets everything
This hostel was nice and the staff were really lovely, but in no way is it worth its price tag.
After 2 and a half months travelling Aus and the Philippines, this was one of our favourite hostels we stayed at. It was so clean and the staff and owners were all lovely! Close to everything you would need while in Moalboal. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying there
Loved this hostel
An absolutely amazing place! It's made with lots of love for the details and turned out so beautifully. The owner gave me a warm welcome by sharing his lunch with me, so kind! The staff is very helpful. The famous sardine run spot is in walking distance. 100% recommend!
Great stay, highly recommend. Staff were super helpful organising tours and answering questions. 10 minute walk into town centre where there is the sardine run and many cafes/restaurants/bars - felt safe walking alone at night. Only down side was shower drain continuously being clogged and not getting cleaned, but it was a minor thing.
This hostel was really lovely with a lot of charm, and exceptionally clean and well kept! Relaxing in or around the pool (which always had places in the shade) was the perfect way to wind down after a day full of activities in the sun! The staff were amazing and helped us out / were very understanding when there had been a hiccup with the reservations. Would definitely come again and highly recommend!
Needed to be cleaned much more frequently. The en suite shower/bathroom was a mess after 4 days no cleaning
We had a great stay in Moalboal. Rooms were super clean, staff were helpful and knowledgeable about excursions around the island. Would 10/10 recommend.
Ziemlich teuer für ein Schlafsaal, der dafür aber auch echt schön war. Allerdings war die Atmosphäre ein bisschen off und trotz des Pools eher weniger social.
Hostel was great at organising day trips, lovely pool.
Really great hostel in a good location with a nice pool. Comfortable beds, good showers, working air conditioning. Space to dry your wet stuff. Would recommend!
Honestly the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, it was more like a hotel, pool was stunning and always clean, staff were so friendly and helpful and the airport transfer was 10/10 will definitely be back
