Best hostel to stay in morjim

Foto op hostelworld komt niet overeen met realiteit. Zeer verouderde blok. Elke nacht voor 3 dagen (do-za) vanaf 4h00 s'nachts luide muziek, veel lawaai. Wanneer je vraagt om stiller te zijn geeft security aan dat hij niks kan beloven. staf spreekt weinig engels . Kamer was oke. Niets bijzonder. Te veel geld voor wat je krijgt.

I've marked it down on cleanliness because the cleaners don't come til mid-morning. But hey, that's standard all over India and maybe I shouldn't measure it against what I'm used to. Otherwise, superb stay. Chilled but buoyant atmosphere. A boisterous but civilized, largely Indian, professional crowd of guests. Great staff, good food, a really nice shower and a lovely warm, turquiose pool! Definitely up-market. Don't hesitate to book!

One of the most beautiful hostels, I've ever stayed! Very clean and nice staff. I came during the off season and it was very quiet, I can imagine during the right season it's the place to be.

I never leave reviews good or bad but felt compelled to leave this as a warning. The listing is a full cat fish. You’re staying on a building site it’s completely unfinished. Pool is fine but gets no sun. Regular power cuts. They do laundry with no detergent then give it back scrunched up in your bag. Private room toilet was filthy all brown stains. 0 vibes, like the deadest place I’ve ever stayed. Area is also fairly dead although beach is nice. They did help with getting a cab. Overall a...

We booked this hostel because of recommendations of friends, but it wasn’t as expected. The 3rd level of this hostel is under construction right now. So it‘s very loud from 8 in the morning and we had sometimes dirty brown water from the shower or Sink. Some who are working there are very unfriendly, but the higher leveled staff are very friendly and provided us a better room with balcony and excused themselves for the noise and dirt. It could be nice in the future…

The owner of the hostel was super friendly and very helpful. He and the staff always had an open ear for us.

I really felt in love with this place. It has opened kitchen, pool, close to beach, very clean, AC in every room and pretty cool stuff

een goede leuke locatie met veel internationale gasten en vriendelijke personeel! De slaapzaal heeft geen slot waardoor het wel raadzaam om extra slotjes mee te doen voor de kluisjes. Top hostel!

I had stayed 2nd time at Woke - I love the vibes and overall crowd - However I feel the points which needs improvement are power back - since Morjim have lot of power cut backup is necessary and Wifi speed was fine can be increased if possible.

would prefer a slight improvement in service. things are taken a bit for granted because it is a popular place amongst backpackers

Well, enjoyed my stay here at Woke Hostel to the fullest. Loved the hostellers and staff and food and location (just a km away from Ashvem beach- one of the most beautiful beaches in North Goa). Travelled solo but came back with loads of memories and best of friends and experiences 😊

loved the stay at woke morjim.Gremorjim. Great amenities including the swimming pool, good proximity to a few beaches and restaurants. A really fun and diverse set of fellow solo travelers made for an amazing trip. Would recommend.

Poor infrastructure and overpriced

had a brilliant stay here, we felt so well looked after and the pool was so nice after a long time. book for a break from cheap hostels to recuperate!

I booked a room in 4 bed shared dorm, but to my surprise, the 4-bed dorm was inside an 18-bed dorm (which had 3 rooms i.e. 8-bed, 6-bed, and 4-bed). I feel really cheated here as I booked a bed in a 4-bed expecting more privacy, anyone from an 8-bed dorm can walk in and use our washroom. The washrooms were in miserable condition, so bad that I had to shift to a private room. If you want to book a private room this property is good but I won't recommend it for shared dorms.

When you check in to Woke, be assured you'll be making many friends, chilling all night and having the time of your life.

We booked 3 beds in dorm of 4. The 4 person dorm is actually interconnected to a 6 person dorm and an 8 person dorm , Do basically it's a 18 person dorm. Different pricing of every other type of dorm does not make sense. The toilet is being used by other people too in other dorms. The staff at front desk wasn't accomodating to provide any alternatives , She was like it is what it is . You can do a fresh booking. Otherwise the property location , cleanliness vibe are top notch.

Woke Hostel is a good option for budget travellers. The place is nicely maintained, the staff is very helpful and courteous. It’s very safe to stay. They also have a swimming pool. Overall very good.
