I asked to see the rooms before booking. I could tell the women's dorm must be uncomfortable (too much light, no curtains, no AC). I chose the small mixed dorm because at least it seemed like the fan would be more effective and had curtains on beds. One of the staff spent some time staring at me with the door open and talking about me after I checked in, and it felt voyeuristic, invasive, and uncalled for (like some gender policing because I chose a mixed dorm). Beware: the entire room was covered in mould, it was disgusting! A health hazard that had clearly been growing for months if not years and nothing has been done to remove it… the only nice thing about the place was the staff themselves, very kind and tried to accommodate us as best as they could, but obviously we left after the first night.

I loved this place! A bit far from the beach but so convenient if you catch the bus or train! A really good common area with a pool table! And so convenient having a cafe on site! This was such a good place to relax for a few days, all of the staff were so lovely and accomodating, they even helped with organising transport as we were leaving

Honestly we expected a lot from the reviews we‘ve read before coming here but turns out it wasn’t great at all. There are definitely worse places to stay out there but if you want to enjoy yourself for longer time I really can’t recommend this place. We saw them not changing the bedsheets so the beads weren’t clean at all. The bathroom was cleaned once a day this was nice. Otherwise the kitchen was so dirty we never used it and no one cared about the mess.

Absolutely incredible! Jassi, Saloni, and Stephen brought such great energy and made my stay truly unforgettable. The dorms were clean, the vibes were fantastic, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and a wonderful nature escape. Ideal for travelers seeking a mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommended!

all good, staff is nice, location is perfect, atomosphere is too good, ambiance is good. only thing is they should clearly mention AC and non AC in dorm room names in Hostelworld room names.

absolutely loved my stay here-the staff- Steven, Jesse and Soloni really make this hostel a fun and social place to hang out. dorms are big and spacious, always clean and have the privacy of the curtains. loved the common areas as they were always a great place to meet other travellers and play Pool. Beer is cheap, onsite restaurant serves good food at good value. staff are always organising fun nights out or in for people staying . location is only a 15 mum walk to the beach. highly recommended

Good hostel; nice staff. It’s a bit of a hike to the beach. The good news is that you’re close to at least one local restaurant that charges normal (for India) prices, rather than inflated tourist prices.

its not far but not close either to the beach. Food is good but is quite expensive considering it is far from all the activity centers. Doors of the dorm dont close automatically and local indians tend to not close the doors when they leave. The common areas arent the most social either.

standard, easy breezy hostel, let us check in early and shower, super convenient and had a pretty good social vibe

Loved this hostel! Way more chill than some of the others and it has a really nice outside chill space with beanbags and a ping pong table. Also has a cafe and bar! About 15 minute walk to the beach but close to intercity bus stops. Good shops around but in a nice secluded area. Has a kitchen and the rooms were comfy (book the ac room though)

Had a great stay here! Deep and his staff are the best. The last 2 days there were not that many people in the hostel, but that did not affect my experience here. Would recommend everyone to stay here for the good vibe.

Stayed at bunk n brew for two nights with some friends and had a blast - would have stayed longer if we could! Staff were all absolute legends and really helpful for recommendations of places to see/arranging scooter rental or anything else you need, always something fun to get involved with if you want to or the common areas are nice to relax in. Location is perfect, away from the busier main beach area but close enough to walk to the beach and surrounding cafes etc 😌 We’ll be staying here...

Lovely place, great value and clean room. Staff were really friendly and approachable. A nice social common area space with various game nights, trivia nights, etc. put on. Had great coffee in the morning and really enjoyed our breakfast here too. Kitchen facilities to do your own food prep and free filtered water available. About a 10 minute walk down the road to the nearest group of restaurants and 20 minutes to Palolem beachfront. Would definitely stay here again.

Bunk n Brew = proper vibes. Excellent staff and food. They were very helpful and the hostel itself is well maintained. Overall a perfect hostel experience for a solo traveller.

On the main road, close to the highway. 1.7 kms from palolem beach. Cozy and clean place. Few facts i indicated here.

The hostel was really good and so was the host (Deep). The restautants and the Palolem Beach are around 600m away from the hostel. For people looking to work from there not need to worry about the WiFi speeds as it was really good but the only problem was that there were frequent power cuts. Overall it was a good experience.
