Indigo Summer Hostel

I really liked this hostel, the owners are very nice people and there is a chill vibe. The room and bathroom was clean and the location is also good. I liked the outside chill area.

Decent hostel. Staff not really around much, wouldn’t help with buses just kept mentioning a taxi. Location so good bc it’s right next to the beach. Not much space for being social/not any activities going on.

I loved my stay at Indigo Summer. Aline, Numan, Kasoon & Lucky were superb hosts and so helpful. The private rooms were very clean & spacious and the hostel is really centrally located near all the bars, cafes and the beach. There was a lovely vibe & it was really easy to meet other travellers. High recommend :)

“Good hostel, but a bit far from the best beaches (Mambo’s is about a 15-minute walk). Very clean, with just one dorm and one shower. Mostly groups stay here.

I loved staying at Indigo Summer! It had a great chill area to hang out in and a nice intimate vibe. The dorm always felt clean and was kept cool with a/c. Just one thing that I’d suggest changing is the towels that were provided. The material is like plastic and doesn’t actually absorb any water but overall a great hostel :)

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at indigo. (6days) Honestly the staff was so nice, always there to help and super friendly. And if you wanna get to know them you just have to propose to play some games of carrom (a cool local board game). The little kitchen is also practical. I recommend this place. Even if their is no ac, with the fan on its not hot during the night, ans the rooms are very clean. Overall, a great stay!

This place definitely deserves so many stars for the amazing, caring staff! The surf course with Lucky was perfect for beginners. So much time and patience was given, always friendly, and also very professional. We had so many fun and interesting conversations with the team, plus game nights where they even taught me how to play Carrom! I would happily come back again to visit my new friends there!

Had a fantastic stay at Indigo Summer. The hostel is located right in the heart of Arugam Bay and the facilities were very clean and new. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they made the stay unforgettable. The vibes were fantastic and the hostel is very social. Easily the best place to stay in A Bay.

Overall had a descent Stay at the Indigo Summer Hostel with some Pro‘s and Con‘s. Pro‘s: -Located in the heart of Arugam everything in walking distance. -cleaned very often -the owners are really kind Con’s: -it is a fairly small Hostel, features only one Dorm so not that much going on -Bunks itself look rather self build and not that trustworthy. The Bed is extremely short max for people 1,80m -The mattress was worn through -Only one shower available for all guests

The dorm room was super crowded, and even though it’s a similar price to other hostels I felt very crammed in. The hostel room was very dark which made it hard to get your stuff sorted. Overall a fair hostel for a budget and the staff were nice but just be prepared for the budget backpacker style exper

Had such a lovely time chatting to the owners of the place. Very welcoming and the location and place are just great.

All around a fun, good vibe hostel. Only negatives are that the beds are too small, if you are over 180cm it will be tight for you, also blankets are maybe 170cm tall :) Also only 1 shower.

Stayed in a private room with a mate - great place with really sound staff.

Personale gentilissimo e accogliente. Mood rilassato dove ci si sente a casa. Ottima posizione, buona pulizia. Per chi ha il sonno leggero consigliato usare i tappi perchè si sente tutto. Consigliatissimo

One of the nicer hostels ive stayed in, it’s quite small so everyone is super social and friendly, the staff are so friendly and nice to be around, beds are comfy and the room is always nice and cold with ac, got a really perfect little common area for chill out time aswell

Stayed in multiple hostels in Arugam and this was the best. Suchh chill, sociable and friendly vibes and the staff make it a really comfortable stay. Dorm is spacious and air conditioned and the common areas are great for relaxing. Perfect location too

Indigo Summer was such an amazing hostel to stay at! We ended up in both the dorms and the private rooms and both were great! The real highlight was the staff and location. The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made the whole experience that much better. The location is great, right in the main street but down a little quiet alley, so you have the best of both worlds! Would 100% stay there again :))

Sehr persönliches Hostel mit sehr freundlichen und bemühten Mitarbeitern. Alles stehts sauber und ordentlich. Absolute Empfehlung.
