Hostel Bajala Siargao

Amazing location. Super peaceful. Absolutely loved my stay for a day. Regret staying at Mad Monkeys after discovering this one.

Hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. So comfy. Friendliest staff. Right on the beach. Highly recommend!!

Amazing hostel with friendly staff and spotless facilities, the location is a short bike ride away from GL and even after partying a tuk tuk is 200php to the hostel.

I absolutely loved this hostel! It is a little further away from the main area in General Luna however I appreciate the quietness. It is right across the beach so you can have a quiet morning or evening relaxing by the water. They offer laundry service, motorbike rentals, and free bicycle rentals. The rooms and washrooms are maintained by staff to be very clean. The only negative is the wifi can be slow but still works fine for remote workers.

tolles schönes und sauberes hostel und sauberes bad ! aber es liegt außerhalb und man fährt so 10min mit dem roller ins geschehen. sozial ist es auch nicht wirklich. aber schön !

I loved my stay here at Bajala! Absolutely gorgeous property, felt like a true luxury villa. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The ensuites were laid out nicely and offered a decent amount of space. The pool was nice and clean, loved the beach front access, hammock, picnic tables, paddleboards, bikes, longboards, etc! And the shared kitchen was a great touch! I was happy to do some cooking for the first time in a while. Would definitely stay again. Out of town but easy with bikes

Such a great stay at this hostel! It’s so clean, you feel safe and the facilities & staff are great. Hot showers, clean bathroom and right across from the ocean. It’s obviously quieter as it’s not in the main town, but if you love your peace and quiet then this place is perfect for you! It’s easy to rent a scooter through the hostel or ride one of the free bicycles to get food in town, otherwise the front desk can get you a tuk tuk in minutes! So many little beaches along the road! Loved...

One of the best hostels I've been to(travelling for 12 years around the world). The bed is super comfy! Rooms are kept very clean, warm water in the shower, right in front of the sea, go watch the stars at night! So many shooting stars! It's a bit out of town but I would stay there again. 2 nice guitars, kitchen, beautiful pool, cafe+restaurant. Loved the place. It was quite during my stay, probably nicer to meet other travellers in October and November

Bajala is the perfect place to chill and enjoy the beauty of Siargao . It is located across from the sea with stylish modern cottages with AC dorms. There is a lovely pool and tasty Indian restaurant on site. There is a well equipped self catering kitchen. The hostel is near Secret Beach. The hostel rents scooters so guests can tour the island. The staff are friendly and responsive. I highly recommend Bajala.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hostel is located a little bit outside of General Luna but easily reachable by scooter or tuktuk. Its nice if you want to have your peace but are also open to socializing. Most of the staff was also very helpful!

The hostel is reaaaally clean and the dorms are really practice with the curtains. The bed are so comfy!! We recommend! And Giuli & Sofia were so nice with us. We had a very good time there! Thank you!! Alix & Maureen

I was meant to come here for 5 nights, but only managed 3 due to the typhoon that kept me in Cebu. I definitely will come back. As this is a fantastic hostel. The staff are really friendly and superb. The dorms are so clean and some of the nicest I've ever been to. Great facilities like a swimming pool and restaurant. Really relaxing vibes right across from the beach. It's not a party hostel, but I didn't want that. You can chat to people and socialise though.

I fell in love with this hostel! It was perfect for me even though it was a few minutes away from General Luna, which is better! If only I could, I would love to extend my vacation because I wanted to stay in Hostel Bajala. Friendly staff and very accomodating! Helped me in all of my needs. Love this place so much. Would definitely go back. 10/10!

The property was lovely, on the water with ample place to sit and enjoy the beach, free bikes and a nice restaurant upstairs. The pool was clean and staff were incredible helpful. There were free bicycles to use but the only thing is it’s far from the main town but the hostel can arrange for tuk tuks. There also was no activities planned but it was low season and not many people there and maybe it’s different in busy season.

A lovely hostel, they’ve clearly put a lot of effort in to making it nice. The little Indian restraunt above it is super handy as well. The rooms are so nice, well air-conned and bathroom is a good size. It’s not the most social because it’s not in the centre of general luna (however I also went non-peak season). Would recommend staying here, the staff are all very friendly :)

Great experience in shared mixed dorm. Restaurant upstairs which was great if you didn’t want to leave area. Free bicycle rent to cycle to General Luna, which wasn’t far.

Habitaciones amplias. Hacen actividades cada día, buen ambiente. Está a 10min en moto de General Luna pero me gusta por eso, queda apartado del meollo. Personal súper amable, cocina completa.

a scooter generally makes life easier in Siargao. So if you want a place that has nice facilities, a pool to take a dip in the afternoon and being out of the hectic main strip, book in here. Hire a scooter :)
