Na jedną noc ok
Great bargain stay location was great for me clean bedding toilet n shower room clean super value great job 👍
For the price, I got what I expected- basic accommodation. Unfortunately too noisy for me from other visitors which is not the establishments fault but the culture of clientele.
Pleasant. Cleaning. Knowledgeable
Good place to stay but they are very strict with their rules- no checking in early without paying an extra fee even if the room is ready, and you need to pay to store each bag even if you're staying. Seems like for the price they could have a little bit of flexibility for those who are staying, would definately inprove the customer service.
The property was decent and it was a good price, but I did notice holes in the bed sheets. The lady at reception when I got there was a bit rude, but the other staff members were nice. I also felt like the breakfast was overpriced.
Washroom felt like stepping into a RV trailers washroom. Because there’s no kitchen I wish there was at least a kettle and a microwave. The stairs are very slanted so if you’re afraid of heights or drunk prepare yourself for the climb. Bed was very comfortable.
loved it. so cozy and convenient
Great location, but one of the worst hostels I’ve been to. When I arrived, the only thing clean was my bed, arguably the most important part. However, the bathroom was very dirty and without toilet roll and soap for almost two days. Only just when I left it was cleaned. The room was hot & smelly, and I’ve had three really bad nights of sleep. I get it, it’s cheap, but a clean space isn’t too much to ask for. Also important to note that you should buy your own water as the refill tank is ...
Had a good stay. Staff were friendly. Place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was yummy Bedroom was warm & bed was comfy
Staying there was a really nice experience, the building so beautiful and lots of stories about each room, I recommend to stay there to feel the atmosphere and made a trip back in time. Everything is walking distance, the from desk people are expectacular.
Not the cleanest, toilet rolls not refilled frequently enough. Beds had curtains but top bunk was open at the top so let in light anyway which kinda defeats the purpose. Didn’t have the breakfast but seemed very overpriced for what it was. Location very good.
The beds had privacy curtains which was amazing, the shower did overflow with water pretty quickly but that is my only fault with the property. Staff were very helpful and kind.
My stay was comfortable, despite the constant flatulence & snoring from other guests. You get what you pay for and this was very affordable for me. Conveniently located in the heart of York. A ten minute walk from the train station & a ten to fifteen minute walk from all of the bars & tourist attractions. The friendly and helpful staff ensured a clean and tidy environment. The hotel was picturesque, housed in a grand old building and yet was updated with vibrant colours, motifs & furniture.
Clean and comfortable rooms, with friendly and supportive staff. I recommend it for anyone considering a short stay.
Great location. Rooms are small, with lockers under the bunks that can be hard to access and take up space, when you drag it out. I stayed in winter so it was quiet, which was nice but made it harder to meet people. The bathroom is very small, so I found it easier to get changed at my bed with the privacy curtain. I was only on the second and had really poor wifi connnection. I would say still comfortable for how reasonable it is priced with a central location and would be ideal for a short stay
There’s no free coffee or tea, and zero kitchen amenities—not even a microwave. Obviously they want you to purchase their food which I found grossly overpriced. 8 pounds for breakfast just seems outrageous especially for what it was. They also will charge you 20 pounds if you mistake your bed, and 3 pounds for the washer and dryer separately (so 6 pounds) and you have to go down to the basement. I don’t know it was cheap and conveniently located but I just felt like they offered hardly any...
My partner and I booked a 10 bed mixed dorm. The room door didn’t lock, the bathroom is tiny, nowhere to rest a toiletry bag.The first person to come in was a just eats driver, made me feel uncomfortable that it wasn’t just travellers staying. We came back later, there was an old man in his 80’s who stays there every other week (the lady at the front desk said). He smelt extremely unwashed. His stench filled the room, made us feel sick. No other rooms available we had to leave. Not safe do...
Not too far away from the main area and very clean. The lobby has a bar but just know that tradies and other people were using the bar as well not just people from the hostel which meant there were a few drunk men there. Ladies at the front desk were lovely and met some fantastic people in my room. Not a very social hostel in the common areas though.
