Canal Hostel Sheki

The hostel was good, however the hostel owner was very nice. He and his wife are very helpful and polite. Helped me to get the bus from Sheki to Gabala

Nice small hostel in a good location between the new and old parts of the city. The owner gives good information even over WhatsApp when he’s not there. When I stayed there, there were few other travellers, but it seems to have a nice and familiar atmosphere.

This hostel is awesome! The host was very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I have stayed in many hostels and although Canal Hostel is basic, the host’s helpful and friendly attitude made this possibly my best hostel experience so far! If you’re going to Sheki, you must stay here!

A good choice, well located, clean rooms and beds. Only problem is one shared bathroom which frequently means long waits for a shower

Small Hostel with a very friendly and helpful host right in between the Old Town and the "modern" Sheki. Just the dorms' interior was very simple and the mattresses very thin, so that one felt the bed frame when lying in bed.

The host family is incredibly kind and I am grateful for their hospitality. I was given a list of places to eat, visit, hike and of course the supermarket location. The beds are comfortable - I slept very well. The heating works great in the room too. The toilets were clean. There is only one shower but this was not a problem cause everyone was very considerate of how much time they spent in there. The kitchen is great and has all the necessary facilities. Overall great experience.

The lady owner was very sweet and helpful to me. Served me homemade pancakes. I would like to visit again.
