Host Ilgar

Awesome property and host

Arguably my favorite stay in the region! Ilgar is a wealth of knowledge and a very good man, helpful with tips and info and quick to facilitate anything you might want. The private room was spacious and the bed was comfortable with a great comforter to ward off the chilly nights. I’d definitely stay here again if I ever return!

It didn’t feel like a hostel at all. It a pleasure to be hosted by such a lovely family. It felt more like a family stay but without feeling of being intruded upon or intruding. I felt very welcomed. The location is very quiet and peaceful.

The place is really quiet and being surrounded by high mountains make it a real gem. Indeed, as a real gem it is a bit off the beaten path but it’s very close to the old town and is a great spot if one is meant to explore those surroundings

Staying at this hostel was a great experience. My room was very clean and spacious. Host Ilgar was very hospitable and ready to answer any questions that I had. His garden is beautiful as well. Very homey place. Would certainly recommend if you want a place that’s close to the main attractions but a closer glimpse of how people live.

This is more like an airbnb than a hostel. There was no other guest at the hostel during my stay, so I didn't get to meet anybody. The family has a baby and it was very loud during my stay (during the day and the evenings). It's a little difficult to find the place and far from the city centre. When I was sleeping in my room, somebody in the family came into my room and when I sat up, they apologized and left. It was weird. When I asked for more toilet paper in the bathroom, it took the host fam...

lovely host, super close to the main sights and restaurants, ilgar was very easy to talk to and gave me good advice on where to go and how to get there. I highly recommend!

Cant expect more than this from the Host. Extremely supportive host. excellent location nearby palace and other places. Good amenities. Overall, completely awesome experience.
