Soffta Surf Ranch

i was supposed to stay for one night, i ended up staying for five weeks. you will never want to leave. the staff is amazing and welcoming, the accommodation is cozy and always clean. the shared space is great, there is a spacious kitchen and a chill zone. its calm and peaceful but social at the same time, located in a perfect spot and close to everything. i can’t imagine staying anywhere else, soffta made my stay in siargao unforgettable. the worst part is the heartbreak when you’re leaving.

Really nice, clean and enjoyable space! Great location, lots of things are accessible on foot. The only thing I could say is there aren’t any hostel events so not many interactions with other guests but other than that amazing !

I stayed at the six bed dorm room which doesn’t have walls. It was extremely noisy at night. You could hear every step of the other people and the busy streets, dogs and chickens. If you’re staying in the 4 bed dorm rooms or in a private room it’s a nice place to stay. If you fancy connecting with people, you will like the whole vibe. It’s located very near to all the shops, restaurants, rentals.

Beautiful accommodation, bathroom space was cleaned daily and the space was always quiet which was nice. Prime spot and there is a bike hire business right by the road entry to the accommodation.

Had the absolute best time here! Can't recommend it enough!

Séjour exceptionnel, nous avions une chambre privée à 4, c’était super, la communauté qui gère l’auberge est accueillante, le lieu est parfait et est maintenu propre.

soffta felt like coming home to me. the staff is really nice and welcoming, Jens is cooles host with the greatest taste in music and I generelly love the laid back atmosphere, the people who hang out there and bring art and music and good food. not too noisy despite its central location at the main road. thank you

Die Unterkunft ist super schön, sehr sauber und alle sind unfassbar lieb! Habs dort geliebt! Wenn man oben im offenen Dorm schläft, kann es aber sehr laut werden, man spürt auch immer, wenn jemand über den Boden läuft - ist aber auch naturverbundener. Falls man da etwas empfindlich ist, sollte man lieber in die geschlossenen Dorms gehen.

Soffta is a special place. It’s for chillers. One of the original hostels here. It shows with the local vibe and cool group of folks who frequent the place. Stay for a while and you’ll get a real feel of what Siargao has to offer

Absolutely loved this hostel I ended up staying for 2 weeks the staff become like family and are so friendly and inviting it’s like a little haven hidden off the main road but close to everything very hippie and local vibes but plenty of opportunity to meet people too. You can cook in the kitchen and chill in the hammocks it was beautiful

Soffta surf ranch est de loin le meilleur hostel de siargao, le personnel est adorable tout comme le patron, les locaux très propre et les installions super bien ! L’espace cuisine est très convivial merci beaucoup pour la semaine qu’on a passé chez vous !

If I go back to Siargao I would definitely stay here again. It's in a great location which makes everything really easily accessible and it's a really nice friendly relaxed vibe. Such pretty scenery and is so well looked after and clean and tidy. They also got WiFi installed in the rooms once we got there as well which was a massive plus. I would definitely recommend it!

very nice hostel! it is not the most social hostel i have ever been to, but i see that this always depends on the people in your room. check-in was easy and the staff was very helpful. it is located a bit away from the main road (50 m) so it is very quiet at night!

Best hostel ever. The vibes are just amazing!! The location is great, because it's at the main road but a bit hidden away from the craziness. The place is so lovely that people that don't stay there hang come by to hang out. Don't think twice, book here!!

Pros: Good value for money, cleanliness, good location, Cons: not very interactive staff, rustic facilities, little privacy in the beds.

soffta ist ein ganz besonderer ort! als alleinreisende habe ich mich zuvor oft einsam gefühlt, im soffta hatte ich keinen einzigen moment der einsamkeit. um die warmherzige atmosphäre noch länger genießen zu können, habe ich sogar meinen aufenthalt verlängert und damit auch freundschaften fürs leben geschlossen :) man wird aufgenommen in eine große familie :) (und wer sich vor krabbeltierchen ekelt, der wird wohl generell auf einer philippinischen insel sein/ihr glück nicht finden)

The location was good, but that’s also the only nice thing I have to say about this place. They have 5 dogs, and all of them (except the pit bull) seemed very aggressive, so I didn’t feel safe walking around. One night I slept somewhere else, and a stranger man slept in my bed while I wasn’t there??? There was also rats inside the room that I had to chase out. I chose to check out two days early because of all of the above, and I didn’t get a refund. Would not recommend at all.

Loved this hostel. Has everything you need and is clean, but mostly the atmosphere is just super nice. The only ‘bad’ thing I have to say is that I could not extend my stay! It’s only a small hostel so book in advance if you want to stay here for longer! Will definitely come back here :)

Located right in the heart zone of General Luna with super friendly staff, this place feels unreal. Its also a nice place to meet other solo travellers . Really happy that I stayed for a few nights.
