Beste Gastfreundschaft!
Perfect hostel with good breakfast and hot showers. The host was the most helpful we ever had. He helped us organise and book tours and gave us very useful tips for our bus trip.
If you go to Samaipata, stay here. The owner is lovely and will go out of his way to make sure that you have the best time possible here. While we were here there were unfortunately some problems with the buses and the roads and at every different hurdle he was there to help us. There is no better place if you want to enjoy your time in samaipata to the maximum.
10/10. Came for 1-2 nights, stayed a week-easily one of the best experiences of my trip. Run by Tom & Tanya, kind and super helpful with everything around Samaipata. Great breakfast, awesome homey vibe, mostly solo travelers who hike and hang out together. Facilities aren’t great, but it’s a Bolivian village. Tom speaks fluent English, Spanish, and German, and is Israel-friendly. would make everyone feel at home. Highly recommend!
Loved staying here. Ended up staying about week. Tom and his lovely wife are phenomenal hosts who are very passionate about not only the hostel, but Samaipata and everything in the town. At Los Aventureros you will find lots of resources on hiking, viewpoints, activities, restaurants, and much more. Thank you Tom
The owners are amazing! Very welcoming, friendly and lovely! Thomas gave us a lot of suggestions for what to do! The place is magic and I’m so sorry that we stayed just one night! It’s a place that deserves to be lived more days!
If you haven’t booked what are you waiting for?! Tom is the best hostel host I’ve ever had, full of recommendations and stories about the local area. When I was sick he also took me to the hospital which was way above and beyond and really was very grateful for all the help especially being far from home. I had a private room which was super with its on hot shower and the breakfast was fabulous. I’ll come again next time I’m in samaipata.
Beds were comfy and showers were warm (enough) bathroom clean, no kitchen, location was meh
The owner of the hostel was the friendliest and most helpful one I had on my travels through South America so far. The breakfast was really nice and plenty. The hostel is small so it is really easy to meet people to go on adventures together.
Nice place to stay for a night. Very good brrakfast! The owners has a lot of tips for activities and Bolivia tips in general. There was a few insects in my dorm, and it was a little cold at night. Other than that I had a really nice stay! Very friendly and kind owners. Calm and quiet area of the town, around 10 min walk from the center only.
Thomas is a really nice guy who is very dedicated to explaining all things to do in Samaipata and how to get there. He also has good tips for bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and will bring you to places with his minivan. The breakfast is very good and has all you need for a good start of the day! The hostel looks like it’s totally selfbuilt which is really cool but also not the safest. I had the showerhead electricity explode in my face which resulted in a thick eye 😅.
Can’t speak more highly of this hostel! Tom and his wife were amazing hosts helped with loads of recommendations of the area and were always smiling. The breakfast is good, showers hot and rooms clean.
I stayed 1 night and left after hearing the woman saying that they receive israelis (I didn't even ask). She was completely indifferent when I asked if she knew what was happening in Palestine. She also told me her husband, the owner, had an Israeli flag sticker on his car. The place is okay, but far from the center, on a road that's impossible to navigate when it rains. No common area for working on a pc. The woman isn't particularly friendly. No privacy, you can see inside through the ...
Great place to stay! Tom was so lovely and helped me book onto some tours around the town. The cabins are so cute and even had a hot shower! Breakfast is unreal :) just a little walk into town
Los Aventureros was a wonderful quiet place to rest whilst exploring Samaipata and the surrounding area. Tom is a friendly host who speaks Spanish, English and German, and goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant. He will organise tours on request, offers a bus service, and offers discounts to various restaurants and bars in town. The breakfast at the hostel is filling and the best I’ve come across in 5 months of travel in Sth America. I heartily recommend Los Aventureros!
