Braemar Youth Hostel

Only met 2 staff, but they were both extremely professional and friendly. Hostel was extremely clean, and very well maintained. Easily the best hostel I have stayed in.

2nd time using Braemar Youth Hostel recently and I didn't hesitate about using it again. It's clean, tidy, comfortable, has plenty of space, facilities are ideal. Staff are very helpful. Beautiful old building in a stunning setting.

Excellent facilities and very friendly and helpful staff, place was beautiful and we couldn’t be more happy with our stay. Will definitely be back.

Nice beds, friendly staff. A bit outside of City buf not terrible. The only Not so nice thing ist the carpet floor

Brilliant, clean, warm and all facilities wonderful. Helpfull,friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this hostel. Will be back.

Great place to stay. The building is located a few minutes walking to the town; staff was super friendly; room was very clean; kitchen and the common area were big and clean. A couple of things to improve: the pressure of the shower and the noise of the doors (a bit of oil it's enough).

I have used this hostel over the years, found the refurbishment has taken some of the cosiness of the place the small of paint is quite outstanding. Staff as always could not be more helpful and the new cookers great

Lovely hostel close to the village core of Braemar. I appreciated the drying room since Iarrived by bicycle shortly after a heavy rainfall.

Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely village what more do people want. We were a group of 3 on motorbikes doing the NC500, a member of staff took time out of his day to advise us on some good roads to ride, (local knowledge), we did them and they were fantastic, all round a brilliant service from the hostel definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great place - friendly staff - value for money. Braemar b & Bs, hotels etc. either booked out or too expensive at £100+

I have stayed in many hostels but the facilities provided at this hostel were shocking. We stayed in a female three bedded room with no space to hang anything apart from walking jackets and the only washing/showering facilities nearby were MALE showers/toilets and washing facilities. Having spoken to some foreign visitors, they were equally shocked at the facilities.

We found the hostel to be very comfortable. The staff were both friendly and helpful.
