ok place, not a lot of people while I was there, but so wasnt very social, but does look like when it has more guests than it might be better. not the cleanest, not very bright, bed was ok

Excellent choix pour séjourner à Dulan ! L'hostel est bien placé proche du bus et des commodités à pied. La décoration est belle, l'ambiance détendue et conviviale. Idéal pour se reposer et rencontrer du monde. L'établissement est propre, la cuisine équipée permet de cuisiner. La salle commune est grande et l'espace extérieur apprécié. Il y a un chat mignon. Le dortoir dispose d'une salle de bain et il y en a d'autres ailleurs. Un bon rapport-qualité prix, je reviendrais sans hés...

Lovely place!

Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Zeit in diesem Hostel! Der Vibe war super entspannt und einladend, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Der Host war unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit – man merkt, dass hier viel Herz drinsteckt. Außerdem war alles sehr sauber, was uns besonders wichtig ist. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt gleich zweimal verlängert haben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wonderful hostel. Almost everything you want in a hostel. Location, facilities, and price are all great, but what makes this place stand out is the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager and staff.

In general: very f***ing lovely! Definetively a place for social people, that like the open backpacker-vibe!

Everything was as it was supposed to be.

Great hostel, really enjoyed staying here, there was lots of space. Would recommend for both couples and solo travelers. There is an area for social vibes, but also an area for quiet time or to do some yoga etc. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and there were lots of toilets and showers for all the guests. The only thing was breakfast was at 8:30am which was quite late if we wanted to start our day. But it was free, and unlimited so overall still great. Would recommend 😊

The hostel is located directly in the centre of Dulan and is close to everything. The owner is super friendly and immediately made me feel welcome. The hostel is very clean, has a great common area and the atmosphere is good. I was able to securely store my bike and there were also a lot of people working remotely. While there is no dedicated co-working space, the property is still recommendable to digital nomads.

Excellent staff! Booked a single room, tidy and very safe with good air conditioning in the private room. Great location if you're here for surfing as the hostel across the street rents boards.

Nikolas is an incredible host. The hostel did organize some cozy events during the night and I make sure to include every visitors. Great moment spent there, will definitely come back.

If paradise exists on Earth, it might be in Dulan! I came not knowing what to expect, and now I don’t want to leave. I truly recommend this hostel — the staff is kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The vibe is amazing, warm, and full of good energy. I’ve stayed in many hostels lately, but The Travel Bug easily ranks in my top three (and it’s not number three!).

Loved Dulan and loved this hostel! A bit quieter than the other hostels nearby but still was able to socialize and get to know other travelers. The location and building itself is amazing, loved the staff and kitties!

I had a wonderful stay at The Travel Bug 旅行蟲 in Dulan. The hostel has a unique, story-filled vibe, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, both the beach and mountains are just a short distance away, and getting around is even easier if you rent a motorcycle or car, especially for exploring nearby counties. Dulan itself is a beautiful place. I’d highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a peaceful yet vibrant getaway.

A chill and laid back hostel, located 15/20 min away from the beach by walk, I really enjoyed my time there. It’s rather a social hostel, but there are spaces on each floor to retreat and relax if needed :)
