Casa tunki is a lovely and great value place to stay in Cusco, I found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the beds are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel/hostel is really safe and calm feeling, they have a great cafe upstairs too. The staff were the highlight for me. They were so helpful with absolutely everything from laundry to storing luggage and providing filtered water, they are so professional and welcoming.
Great hostel, was lovely to take a rest here after out inka trail trek. Room was perfect and facilities are great! Breakfast included was amazing also. Definitely recommend!
Great hostel ! Greats beds
the beds were super comfy! probably the best sleep I've had at a hostel. location was great, the staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the breakfast was fine. There is not a lot of pravicy in the shared toilets and baths, but it's to be expected. there are some really comfortable and nice common areas. It's not a very social hostel, so if tou want a party or somewhere to meet new people this is probably not the place to do it.
I absolutely loved this hostel. Hence why I came back a second time! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included which is a big plus and on top of that it’s very delicious too. You have a lot of privacy in the dorm rooms, since you’re sleeping in a ‘cube’ with curtains. Also it’s a double bed, so enough space for all your stuff! Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!
A great place to stay in Cusco. The facilities are awesome and extremely clean. The beds are super comfortable and the capsule (we had the premium dorm) setup works very well in my opinion. The breakfast might be quality-wise the best we've had in hostels in South America. It's a bit small, though but can be upgraded to a sizeable one with 10 soles. All in all, this is one of the better hostels we've ever stayed. The staff was a bit lost at times, though.
Slow ass wifi!! The bathrooms could be better. They always have a weird sewer smell, but the girl who cleans it does a good job. The water wasn’t always hot. And shower drains don’t really work well. So you’re standing in a puddle, which to me is filthy. Also when someone uses the sink or flushes the toilet the water cuts out while you’re showering The staff is nice tho, and would offer to make a packed breakfast for when you have a early morning excursion
Great hostel overall! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a private room and it truly felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel. This isn’t the most social hostel but that was welcome after long day trips exploring the areas around Cusco. The decor in the hostel is amazing and the restaurant had really reasonable prices. Location was perfect, very close walking distance to all the main squares, markets and sights. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Really nice if you want a more hotel-y vibe. Not social but super relaxing, super comfy beds, and good breakfast :)
Great hostel for the price and great breakfast
One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is so kind and helpful, very clean, spacious comfortable beds with curtains, delicious free breakfast. Such a nice stay. It’s a very quiet, chill hostel, so if you’re looking for lots of social time this might not be the place. I personally love a quiet place so it was perfect. Highly recommend
Stayed for one night before doing the salkantay trek but it was very clean, and big. A lot of room to have your own space or meet up with a group of people either in the cafe, lunch room, or just random little sit down areas in the hostel. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic hostel. great location, breakfast, staff and beds.
this was by far the very best hostel we stayed in Peru! The food was amazing, you could get free drinking water and the bunk beds were comfy and big. Also every member of the staff was amazingly helpful, nice and reliable. We had a lot of specific questions and interests and they always were patient and trying their best to organize something in the best way for just us. Especially Giovanni was helping us a lot and had a great patience!! I cannot recommend this hostel enough!
This was the best hostel we stayed in because of the beds! They were big, clean, and comfortable and it felt like a hotel bed in a capsule. We slept in a 12 person room but it felt like 6 because we couldn’t see the other 6 beds. The lockers were a bit unstable though. The staff were nice and the hostel looked really nice overall. The breakfast was also good. The showers were great! Very clean and nice.
I stayed at six hostels over two weeks in Peru, and this was the only one that offered free filtered water (tap attachment) for guests. THANK YOU!! I deeply appreciated that! One of the most comfortable hostel stays I’ve ever had. The pod beds were so comfortable and spacious, and little details like hooks and a shelf inside made it even better. The atmosphere/vibe from other guests was quiet and respectful. Staff were so kind and helpful. The light breakfast was delicious and pretty.
Top notch hostel in a beautiful building. Beds are incredibly comfortable and quiet. Bathrooms and clean and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was also great. Not many people around while I was there (in low season), so atmosphere wasn’t great, but otherwise 10/10.
Super hostel! Geen keukentje, maar ze zijn super vriendelijk en heerlijke bedden. Super schoon en je kan je echt terug trekken in je bed met privacy!
I couldn’t have enjoyed my stay more. It was clean, beds were comfortable & private, staff were nice, breakfast included (when I left early for a trek they made me breakfast to go), & they stored my luggage for me. I would absolutely stay here again.
