the hostel has good showers and is very quiet and cheap. these are the good points. and here our story: we booked a double bed room with tv and own bath. the smell (mouldy, moisture in the walls - room 15) there was so intense that we had to ask to change the room. then we got room 5 with two single beds, but no smell. unfortunately the bed was so over used that I had back pain from. the hostel didn't offer us a discount although we changed to a cheaper room.
Super !
Dorm room was full of mold - you could see it growing all over the walls right next to the beds and all over the bathroom. The room smelled horrible and all of us had sore throats after spending a couple nights there. They also just take the garbage out of the bin and don’t replace the garbage bags so little bits of food and dirt sit in the bag for days. The comforters are all stained and even felt damp from the mold in the room. However, the hostel felt very safe and it was cheap
We stayed here two nights with a few days in between. The shared bathroom room was a bit frustrating because we had to either go downstairs or wait to use the bathrooom because it was the only one with a shower. But it was not terrible. The private bathroom room we had was very nice, blankets were so comfy, nice shower. Would stay again. Also luggage storage for 9sol a night was great.
The flying dog hostel is amazing! Awesome location, close to the historic centre and only 2km away from the local’s market. The street has lots of awesome options for authentic Peruvian food at great prices. Landry service at the hostel was good and seemed cheaper and quicker than most other laundry places in the area. Breakfast was excellent and had an array of different options as well as teas and coffee. Our room was super clean and they offered free cleaning near daily.Staff were incredibl...
I think I broke my toe here due to tripping on uneven flooring. I was staying here while they were renovating and the dorm room I was in was not complete, dusty dirty from renovation. I think there are better options in Cusco for less per night.
I do not recommend this hostel. First, they are building another level of rooms right above the one already existing, which makes a lot of noise and the workers start at seven in the morning, so you cannot sleep. (June 2025)Secondly, there were ants all over our room and even in our bed, which made sleeping really uncomfortable and this is not including all the spiders in the room. Thirdly we paid extra for the breakfast menu, but they only have bread and hot water. I would not book there.
While it says that it is a non smoking facility, they allow smoking in the courtyard and it wafts into the rooms that are adjacent to the court yard.
This place totally sucks. The building is dilapidated. There's mold on the walls and ceiling in the dorm. Bathroom window doesn't close so it's freaking cold at night. Dorm has no curtain at all so no intimacy.l. The kitchen is not well-equipped and doesn't even have a proper cooker. Very unpleasant staff, never saw them smiling..Left my luggage in a storage room while on a day trip. When I came back they asked for money which is ridiculous. Would NOT recommend.
Bien ubicado
Nice chill hostel for when you are doing the activities in the area such as rainbow mountain and Inca trail. Private room was very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was very chill. Not a party hostel by any means but a nice place for a relaxed few days to put your head down. Breakfast was very basic though
Breakfast was very good. Private room was huge. Slightly cold but have heaters in the room. Only 2 shared bathrooms that we could find
it was a nice hostel, they have a nice breakfast, you can store your luggage there (but for a fee), they have lockers in the room and a small kitchen. it's not very social and it was a lot cheaper to book online than in person
Très bon hostel situé entre le quartier bobo et le centre historique de Cusco! Cuisine bien équipée et chambres/sdb propres!
A lovely spot to stay in Cusco! Comfortable and clean. A nice breakfast in the morning and not too far from anything. Would recommend!
