Very not good hostel, not to mention that they try to take more money them i need to pay
We have to change room in last minute when we arrive because they dont book the room for us and they want to charge us more.
The host and the staff were extremely responsive and helpful to our needs. The property is a little farther from central cusco but still easily walkable. The room was clean and nice but the hot water in the shower was very unreliable. The host came several times to try and fix it but the water would be hot for 30 seconds and then turn ice cold. A good budget hostel if you dont mind a little longer walk and cold showers(the host may have fixed it by now but he tried multiple times to no avail)
Buena ubicación, ofrecen tours, camas cómodas y limpias, baños con ducha y agua caliente. Aceptan dólares si no has podido cambiar dinero.
Great staff
Weird experience from the word go. The hostel had no record of my booking. Room was dark and smelly with no natural light and one working lightbulb of four. Two showers but when both in use only one is warm. The communal area for cooking also appears to be used by the homeowners (and is being used constantly by them). The dining table is in their living room. Noise from about 5am on. The vibe is off and it seems like you are a hassle to the property owners by staying there! Cheap but that’s al...
Not enough showers or toilets Would not want to stay there when it was full but for me exvellent
The online check-in time isn’t the same in person. We arrived expecting to be able to check in at 11 but had to wait till afternoon. The communal areas were very messy, with children’s toys scattered all over the floor, and dirty pots across the kitchen. The designated hours to use the kitchen are 7am-10pm but even then we told we couldn’t use it. We even had to pay extra for the gas we used whilst cooking. The owners use all the space and seem to be annoyed you’re even there. Weird expe...
Great budget hostel. Comfy beds, lockers, bathrooms in dorms, shared kitchen. Wi-Fi was spotty so it might not be the best place to cowork from but overall great space and so affordable!
The initial impression was stressful. I had made arrangements with the manager, Alicia to have a taxi waiting to transport us from the airport to the hostel on arrival to Cusco but no one showed. We booked an Uber so no big deal there. We then arrived thinking we were going to stay in a female 4 person dorm room but the staff had no record of our reservation. They offered to split my friend and I up. We were not comfortable with this. In the end, they upgraded us to a private room.
Cheap, clean and close to everything. Very friendly and easy going staff too 🙏🥰
A very good value place to stay in Cusco. 8 bed dorm is nice enough, good showers and a small kitchen. The owners are very nice and happily stored our bags for a couple of days while we left hiking and helped us with questions about buses etc. Not a particularly social atmosphere but a very pleasant stay and for the price you can't beat it. Would definitely come back if in Cusco again.
staff was great, lication good, showers actually only had hot water which was too hot to shower comfortably in.
great hostel, we booked a prived room for 3 persons, that was great. it was not in the hostal itself, but around the corner from the hostal. that made is a bit harder to book tours with a pick up from our place, but with the help of google maps it eventually worked out. There was no gas for cooking in our part of the hostal, and the plug from the refrigerator was pulled out by someone, so our stuff was not cooled. The shower we had was not a great, but there was warm water.
This family couldnt be nicer, Its quiet and friendly. Lots of budget travelers here with lots of knowledge to share. Thick warm blankets and they make your bed everyday. Downside, the girls dorm shower is very sad, lol, most gave up using it, doesnt get hot enough (after a cold day in the mountains, you need) the water pressure was low to wash your hair. There are very hot showers downstairs though, so NBD. Yall, its a budget hostel, nothings perfect, but it covers your needs. I recommend :D
El lugar es atendido por el dueño y su familia, muy atentos y amables, te ofrecen tours a mejor precio que en otros lugares. Nos ayudo con un tour y nos resguardo maletas.
I enjoyed my stay here . I had good nights sleep , bedrooms are comfortable and have plenty of space . The hostel is family ran with a cozy vibe. They were helpful with setting up any tours. Kitchen is accessible. The location is about a 10 minute walk from the center but it’s a nice walk with grocery stores close by. I would stay here again.
