Lovely cute stay at Angelica’s, very good staff. Quiet Hostek for our stay but that is what we enjoyed. Good spot in general Luna, close to everything but not loud from the street
The accommodation has plenty of space to chill out and work in communal areas with a small bar downstairs if you need refreshments while working. The location is very convenient & close to General Luna’s main area, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and the beach. The staff Jane and Eddie, were one of the highlights of the stay. Very welcoming & approachable throughout our stay.
We had a really nice stay at Angelica's hostel - we stayed in a private room and it was really comfortable and clean. We had to go to the front desk a few times and the staff were always really kind and helpful. Only complaint is that you can hear people walking up and down the corridor if they are heavy footed - however this can be fixed by wearing earplugs. The location is also in walking distance of really nice restaurants. Would stay here again, really reccomend.
Stayed in a private room - was small and simple but clean and good A/C. Hostel is quiet/not super social but I was looking for that so it worked. Staff are really helpful and friendly, I would stay again :)
SO MUCH CONSTRUCTION next door it was so loud, I’m not sure when it will end but be ware. Otherwise it was fine. Not social at all, I’m not sure I saw more than 2 other people while I was here and it was fully booked. There were toilet and shower rooms but no real “bathroom” to shave or get ready etc. The private room was at an excellent price though. Also definitely not for digital nomads, the desk and stool were tiny and no real workspace.
All in all a good place to stay! Although not very social. The double bed room has no complete walls and the hostel is near the main road, but it was still quiet and I could sleep very well.
Location was ok. Room was very disappointing.. very loud. You could hear EVERYTHING. The room was small and tight, and had cracks in the wall. Not very clean. Toilet and shower was ok, but could use a bit more cleaning. Not social at all. Common area was used a lot by the staff, it was messy, and kitchen was very dirty. Weird that you have to sign 2-3 pages when checking in. Staff was nice, and the surfing lesson they booked for us was great!
The staff was very kind. When we had an issue (nothing to do with the hostel) they helped us! Also, we got upgraded (without asking) and had a family room for the 3 of us, which was very convenient. The communities are chill. There were 2 drawbacks : the isolation is very bad (surely because of the metal roof) so you can hear everything that’s happening outside. Also, at the moment, there’s a building in construction next door so we’re woken up early but the hostel can’t do anything ...
Cant understand why their reviews are that good. Overall such a weird experience. Was alone in my dorm but for some reason there were no beds available when i checked online after checking in. After that i had a mouse in my room and the staff didn‘t believe me. Left after 30 minutes and didn‘t get a refund. They also use the social area to them selves which gives off an unwelcoming feeling. Wouldn‘t recommend
I had a very nice stay, me and my friend had I private room and we liked it very much and you felt really welcomed by the staff!
100% recommended! We felt very comfortable from the first minute. We extended our stay twice and stayed here for 2.5 weeks. The location is great– not directly on the main road, but close to all shops you need! The private room was perfect - enough space, a comfortable bed and great AC. And especially the staff made our stay so great! Jane, Eddie and Raquel were helpful, incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a big smile. They made everything possible for us. A big thank you to them!!...
Lovely hostel with super friendly and helpful staff (Jane and Eddy). Helped with anything I needed. also great location just off the main road with all the bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back. Thanks to everyone there!
Lovely place to stay in Siargao! In a great location near shops, restaurants and cafes. The staff are absolutely AMAZING and so incredibly helpful from recommendations to helping with scooter rental and transfers. Big thanks to Jane, Rochelle and Eddie for being so great and making our time in Siargao really special. The room was perfect for our stay however the curtains very thin so woken up early.
Perfect hostel! We stayed in a private room for 5 nights and it couldn't have been better. If you want somewhere quiet but right in the centre of general luna this is a great place. May at reception was so helpful booking our tours and airport transfers so quickly and easily. Staff are all lovely. Not a particularly social hostel so something to bear in mind, but the communal spaces are super.
The staff is so incredible and they were very accommodating, helpful and kind the entire stay. That said, I was quite surprised about this hostel's super high rating -- it may have been because it's low season, but there was no atmosphere or social vibe here at all, you couldn't even buy a drink from a fridge and staff was frequently using all the common space for their own work, which is fine, but it made it a bit less welcoming for guests to come meet people. If you're looking for an escape an...
3 pages of rules to sign is not the best way to welcome your guests(: Maybe if it wouldn’t call itself a Hostel we wouldn’t have been so disappointed. “Don’t do this, don’t do that, you’ll be fined if…” in combination with a sign at reception saying “if anything here makes you feel uncomfortable pls tell us we can all use a good laugh” doesn’t really fit. Humor goes both ways guys
Nice place , Very good location.
Goed verblijf, schoon en perfecte ligging. Verder niet heel sociaal.
