Warm welcome to amazing converted building right in the middle of the village.

Denise was a great host and the hostel had nice, basic rooms and warm showers which were perfect for after a rainy day’s hiking. Would recommend if on the C2C

Great building the 8 man dorm was occupied by four blokes , we had plenty of space to all spread out , the toilets sinks and shower were immaculate and came as part of the dorm ie ensuite , the kitchen area was clean and well stocked , finally the old chapel balcony was turned into the most relaxing and comfortable space to relax next to a beautiful stain glass window , this was my first ever hostel where i had slept in dorms i will definately be coming back

Generally good stay, bike lockup place could be more secure. Staff were lovely. Kitchen and bathroom great. Bed was very comfy. Location was ideal.

Great value stopping place, especially for walkers and bike riders.

This was an unpleasant hostel. Chosen for location on Coast to Coast walk. Security lax - envelopes containing guests names, door key codes and amount charged in folder pinned to outside of front door. We were charged almost double the pre-agreed rate & have to reclaim this. No sign of a warden. Very dirty - hard to tell if bedding had been changed, rubbish was left in room, shower was filthy & didn't drain properly. Large party of children arrived 10pm - very noisy until after 12. Slept badly.
