Lub Sbuy Hostel

The sheets were dirty with hairs all over them and when we asked if we could get fresh ones the hotel couldn’t provide any. The smell in the room was very unpleasant. The bathroom was rusty and during the night we would constantly wake up to other people flushing in other rooms or closing doors in the hallways.

The booking and checking in was easy and quick. Polite staff. The room is everything you need if you are just there to sleep and are mostly out and about. + Bed with clean sheets, no bed bugs; + Closet with a safe; + A little fridge; + We got two bottles of water daily; + Shower was high, good stream and warm; + Bathroom was clean; + Clean towels; - Bed was quite hard; - Hangers in closet not very sturdy; - Shower very rusted; - Tap seemed to almost break; - Tiny bugs in the bathroom...

The toilets were pretty disgusting at times, bu the staff is sooo cute!!

Alright location (easy to get a bolt to any of the beaches) and 10 minutes walk from old town. The vibe was very quiet, probably good if it suits you but not great for meeting people. Okay value for money but the laundry service was excellent

My friend I walked In our room, then left immediately, room smelt like mold and or chemicals, and could not get another room, so we had to leave and book a hotel that cost way more for one night

didn’t stay here but booked a night to leave my baggage due to the location. Man was really friendly, facilities looked good and people were about and friendly. Thought I would happily have stayed there.

Good room for the price, it is in Old Town so keep in mind it is quite far to the main strip in Patong. Room was clean however the aircon did not work which made sleeping in the room really uncomfortable. Overall does the job for a few days.

I stayed one night in a private room so can’t say too much, but it was ideal for that purpose.

Very solid hostel. Perfect for a first time. Only problems were the showers being abit inconsistent with the level of output. Other than that no real faults.

Didn’t feel safe at all in the hostel, there was a knife in the bathroom and the doors didn’t lock properly. The bathrooms were very dirty, used plasters and dead insects in each of the showers. The room was okay, kind of what you expect for a hostel but absolutely nothing special. They did have big lockers though which was a bonus and good air conditioning. Staff were pretty nice but didn’t help us find the room and none of the beds were labelled. Wouldn’t stay again

Great stop over or place to be to visit the local town and markets.

Great value for money

It’s a good chill hostel however if you’re solo travelling I wouldn’t really recommend it, I tried to speak to people in my room and get them to be social and go out and do things and none of them seemed interested.. the staff were lovely and the showers were warm!

Stayed for one night in a private. Big balcony, big bed, smallish room. Good value. The room was generally clean but defs needs a deep clean. Mattress was allgoods tho. Internet was fast asf for anyone that cares

Hostel was clean and the shared toilets/showers were pretty good. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location was pretty good and close to some good food spots!

We had a great stay, really nice hostel and large double room. Joen was fantastic on front of house, so helpful and a great host. Great location close to old town, bus terminal and ferry port. Fairly quiet hostel if that’s your vibe!
