An ok stay, but worse than expected. Many facilities are misleading—no curfew was listed, yet we were told we’d be locked out after 23:30. No card payment despite being advertised. AC and fan didn’t work, WiFi was unreliable, and many amenities cost extra or didn’t exist. Very few outlets in the room and overall poor comfort level. Staff were ok but information was inconsistent. Overall cheap, but too much false advertising to fully recommend.
the place was calm and calm, the best part was the staff especially the service guy(ibrahim sahraoui), he spoke tunisian fluently, friendly and funny
You get what you pay for! I loved my time here. Stayed for one night, then left on a 3-day tour. When I came back, the host remembered that he still owed me change for 1 durham. Such an honest man! There are no sheets and the bathrooms are kinda funky, but you’re in Morocco! Embrace it.
Nice place, friendly staff and beautiful building. Would recommend!
You get charged for everything including using the kitchen
Terrible hostel, do not stay here. 2 hour wait to check in. Dirty beds. Overbooked so we didn’t get the room we paid for. Met a group who were forced to sleep on the roof the night prior due to the overbooking.
Do not stay here. We got there at 1pm for the check in time and it took 2 hours for a worker to check us in. They are completely scamming and overbooking rooms. The three of us booked a private room for three people and were split up into 2 different female dorm rooms and one bed in a completely different building / hostel. They did not give us keys, there are no lockers and my bed was never cleaned from the last person staying in it. My hostel mates had told me they were forced to sleep on the ...
Do not book this place. Just a couple of reasons below: 1. We booked 2 weeks in advance, and we were told they were overbooked when we arrived. Pushing us to look for another room at 9 pm. No solution, not even the attitude to help us. 2. The place and surroundings look dirty and unsafe 3. Is a small building, a lot of people were in the 'common area,' which is just a table with some chairs next to the 'front desk.' Yes, it is a budget place, I've been in many before, but I wouldn't ...
Some things you need to know. When checking in despite having a reservation, we were told it was full. After an argument he found 1 bed for my gf and I had to sleep on the couch. The next day he turned away many other travellers that also had a reservation. So be prepared to find another stay. The other thing is that the bed sheets are not changed. They just wipe them off and then fold up the sheets for the next person. Good location, and friendly host. Just terrible organization, and overbookin
The hostel manager, Ibrahim was great and very welcoming and engaging. He made things go smoothly, and was able to talk to him in English well. He was able to give good insight and advice for things to do in Marrakech and around, and was overall a very good hostel manager. Breakfast was good, water at hostels for 10 durham, and beds are pretty comfy. Tucked away out of busy streets, and no issues.
Very nice location, with good vibes. Ibrahim was an amazing host, with a chill vibe. The rooftop is truly amazing and the perfect place to unwind after a day in busy chaotic Marrakech. The only thing to keep in mind though, especially if you're travelling on a budget is that you have to pay 30 dirham to use the kitchen!
I only stayed in Marrakesh for one night. Twin room was comfortable and clean, with warm blankets on the bed. Employees are nice. It felt safe. I just don’t like the 12am curfew (I think many places in Marrakesh have this, but I think I would try to find one without next time)
30dh a day to use the kitchen, notices not very clear, kitchen closes at 11clock pm.opens at 8am .No room to store your food ,no lockers,.staff no helpful.Chahge currency in euros.
Great place to stay on a budget. No heat in the rooms so a little cold in winter but heavy blanket kept us warm. Ibrahim is a great host and was very accommodating. Booked us an overnight desert excursion (ask for upgrade with heated rooms if available). Hot showers were wonderful. We returned after first visit to stay an additional two nights. Good for the money.
todo bien
Everything super super clean. Staff super super nice. But the bed gave me pain on my back, they charge you to use the kitchen, andI was scammed on my way to go, by locals asking for money.
Good location away from the chaos of the medina and near the interesting El Mellah area. The pin on google maps is a little bit off, but there are signs. Very clean and modern interior. Single rooms a bit overpriced in my opinion but dorms are fine. Shelves but no lockers. Very good atmosphere at large common breakfast table, and decent breakfast provided.
Good price for Money. But it’s a bit inconvénient that there aren’t many toilets and sink is only in shower
