Oasis Medina Hostel

Had a great stay and met some amazing people!! Cutest and sweetest cats ever too!!

Very clean and friendly! The owner was super nice and accommodating and helped me and my friends on multiple occasions. The little kitty was also my favorite part about this place!!

Very calm, laidback vibe. Rooftop was so nice, bedrooms felt clean, only the bathrooms weren’t my favorite. Medhi was so kind and let me call him for him to speak with my taxi driver about where to drop me off, then walked to the drop off point to meet me and walk me to the hostel. Gave me so much peace of mind as I was a female solo traveler arriving at night. So appreciative of him!!

so hard to find, host sends location on whatsapp before arriving, but still. no sign at the entrance or anything stating that the hostel is here. area doesn‘t feel the safest to walk at night. had a private room and the bathroom was so nasty. the carpet in the bathroom is like a wet dog, idk if it ever got changed… luckily there was a spare fleece blanket I could use to close the big gap under the door, otherwise u see the light going on every 5mins from the hallway. friendly host, nice roof...

It was a lovely stay! The hostel was super quiet at night and the owner was very nice and accommodating. The rooftop is a great spot to hang out and the hostel kitties are the best!!

In terms of value for money, it’s quite good. There’s a kitchen you can use too. The correct address not being provided was a pain in the ass after walking to the address listed on Google maps link! This info should be provided to the guest once the booking is made… Tip- use Apple Maps link and you will find the hostel. Avoid google!

Leider ist das Hostel nicht auf Google Maps zu finden und über die Adresse bei Hostelworld landet man bei einem anderen Hostel (Medina Oasis Hostel). Auch die Location über WhatsApp war nicht genau und wir sind in der falschen Straße gelandet. Dann hat die Haustüre kein Schild o.ä., dass darauf hinweist, dass man richtig ist. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind alle verschimmelt und riechen sogar nach Schimmel. Die Person, die uns empfangen hat, war sehr kurz angebunden und nicht besonders freundli...

We were staying im the hostel for 4 nights in a private room and everything was very good! The rooms were nice, clean and modern:) Having breakfast on the beautiful balcony (with their very cute cat!) and after that having a walk to the markets and the city center which are very close by:) But especially the host was so kind. He helped us a lot with our questions about the city, recommendations and transportation around the city:) We would definitely come back!

Stayed at Oasis Medina Hostel in Marrakech and had a great experience. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with a beautiful setting that makes it easy to relax after a busy day exploring. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. A perfect spot to stay in the heart of the city.

Bei unseren 3 Nächten, die wir in diesem Hostel verbrachten, fiel uns besonders die entspannte Atmosphäre und die Gastfreundschaft des Hosts auf. Der Gemeinschaftsraum schuf ein tolles Ambiente, in dem man sich wunderbar mit den anderen Hostelbewohnern (auch die Hauskatzen) connecten konnte. Zur freien Verfügung standen außerdem eine Gitarre und ein paar Spiele. Alles in allem eine sehr angenehme Hostelerfahrung mit äußerst freundlichem Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :))

It was a nice stay in Marrakech.

The Oasis Medina Hostel is a very cute place, located right in the Medina of Marrakech. The owner is super nice and the rooms were always clean. I felt very comfortable.

Wir konnten gut 3 Nächte dort verbringen. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse, auf der man auch oft anderen Reisenden begegnete. Leider gab es sehr viel Schimmel und das Bad war nicht wirklich hygienisch.

This hostel was not clean, and there was mold all over the women's bathroom ceilings. There are 2 women's bathrooms, and one of them is literally a handheld shower head that sits right beside the toilet- so gross. When we checked out, we sent the owner photos concerning the mold, and he denied that it was mold and said that "this problem" does not exist in the other bathroom- so he addressed that it was a problem yet would refuse to agree that it's mold and give us a refund.

The location is outside the medina. There are actually 2 properties hostel, they will give you the correct location on whatsapp. Medhi was a nice guy.

Ok for the price. Pros: - Mehdi (the host) was very kind and helpful. Even organized airport transfer + gave recommendations - very central location close to the souk - not expensive - mostly clean and good interior that feels authentic Cons: - the street is very quiet, didn’t really feel safe walking home (after sunset) as a woman - the toilets and showers are combined so they are both wet and smell bad at the same time. And they don’t include sinks AND one of them could not be...

For a budget price expect a budget hostel. I enjoyed having a sleeping bag liner. Staff is friendly and helpful. They provided an electric heater.
