Villa-Atlas Guest House

The staff were super kind and they have a pool table and a rooftop sunset view spot, but the bathrooms were pretty rough and the wifi did not work in the dorm. It was fan only which is great for the environment but proved to be my most difficult nights sleep in the Philippines

Stayed in Malapascua mainly for diving so i wasn’t at the hostel much. Bathroom from my dorm was kinda dirty + toilet was not working. Also not that social? Maybe it was because there weren’t that many people there. Staff was friendly tho! Location is perfect!

I mean you get what you paid for. The toilet was next to my private room and was clogged the entire duration of my stay so my room also smelled. There were dead bugs all over the sheets on arrival. I don’t typically complain about hostels as I’ve stayed in all sorts but I had to book somewhere else for the last night because it was that bad.

Cet hostel est une grande déception. Ostello del cuore! Mi sono trovata benissimo! Le camerate pulite e spaziose, bellissimi spazi comuni, amache ovunque, biliardo gratis, tanti gatti e cani adorabili, ristorante thai ottimo! Ogni giorno si organizzano attività diverse e l’atmosfera è molto familiare! Lo staff sempre disponibile e adorabile! Mi sono sentita a casa non sarei mai voluta andarmene! They put online that there is a swimming pool and free breakfast, this is false information there is no pool to be found and they do not serve breakfast, other than that the room has no aircon but the fans in the room make it ok it’s warm at night but not sweaty hot lots of mosquitoes but they provide mosquitoe nets although mine had holes in it and the mosquito got trapped in my net not fun! Only one toilet and one shower for 4 dorm rooms.

Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, nur Ventilator. Moskitonetze über den Betten zu klein und mit Löchern. Hunde, Katzen und Hähne die nachts viel Krach machen. Oft kein Toilettenpapier oder defekte Spülung, keine Seife, Duschen im Blickfeld der Dachterasse... alles in allem eine sanierungsbefürftige Einrichtung, die dringend mehr Sauberkeit braucht.

My stay at this hostel was really disappointing. I booked it because they offered a 15% but the information isn’t updated . The fan was noisy, the shower had no pressure, and they even took my charger to lend it to another guest. There were no lockers, and the place wasn’t cleaned properly. When I arrived, all the beds were dirty, and my roommate told me they hadn’t been changed in three days, even though other guests had left. Loved my stay here! Nice relaxed yet social atmosphere. The people working here make you feel like home. Good location to explore this little incredible island. Would definitely recommend!

The room was awful, the hostel itself has nice things like hammocks and a pool table. The rooms toilet didn’t work, no restocking of toiletpaper, cockroaches, shower very bad and a condom under my bed mattress. The beds that used to be occupied did also not get made.

The rooms were dirty, the mattress was uncomfortable, and the AC was not very effective. The bathrooms smelled bad and were really dirty.

side of my bed and window sill was filthy - tons of dust, tissues, very old plasters. Table of old rubbish, bits on bed & rather shocking bathroom that had a strong stench. Like others, I moved after 2 nights. restaurant didnt seem open & I found associated diving centre staff a bit dismissive and not forthcoming with discounts if you stay at the hostel

Some of the rooms doesnt have A/C, not enough bathrooms and also dirty. It's well connected but I didnt receive a good personal attention. The comune zone was really good.

Meh. Atlas diving was fantastic!!!! The hostel not so much. The room couldn’t have been hotter. A/C was nonexistent. there was a crappy fan and that’s about it. TERRIBLE nights sleep each night. Big bites everywhere. Extremely muggy in room. Probably the top 3 worst hostel experiences of my life. Workers were extremely unfriendly. Location was great tho. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Me gustó mucho el ambiente y el staff. Tienen una común muy chula. Podrían mejorar en tener lockers pero igualmente se ve muy seguro

Nous étions 2 pendant 3 nuits dans les dortoirs et recommandons a 100% la Villa Atlas ! le staff est très sympa, particulièrement Rissa qui est toujours aux petits soins. merci encore pour cette expérience !

We had a great stay here. Staff is very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Went diving with Atlas as well and it was very good!
