Koh Rong Lagoon

Lagoon was very under construction when I was there so do with that what you will but overall disapointed for value. Fireants and bugs everywhere, bathrooms weren't very clean and ALWAYS out of toilet paper, bedding is a scrap of fabric, blood on the wall in my bunk and they definitely need more hooks everywhere. It felt like a dirty frat summer camp (everything is outside) so if youre fine with roughing it then this is your place. Wifi was good - close walk to Nestival

Ik zou het zeker aanraden om hier te verblijven als je iets meer rust zoekt. Het ligt op een rustige plek een beetje in het bos. Dat is eigenlijk ook het enige nadeel: het ligt niet direct aan het strand. Je bent er wel echt met een paar minuutjes lopen. De staf is super aardig, behulpzaam en weet veel over het eiland. Het eten en de drankjes zijn ook erg lekker! Nestival en restaurants zijn allemaal ook op loopafstand over het strand.

Private rooms were nice and spacious, food was also good and the lobby area had plenty of hammocks/places to chill. Location is good being located a couple minute walk from the beach, and in between the main port and nest.

Great little hostel, owner was super friendly, the location is a little bit remote but you get jungle vibes, with the planning they have it will be a great hostel in the future, the bathrooms are a little walk from the rooms but overall I enjoyed my time here

Had a great time here.room always clean.staff was very helpful.beautful green areas with lagoon and beach views from the sitting areas. Provided a good breakfast service too. The location was perfect very close to everthing you need.

Booked last minute for nestival. Overall, it was okay. Would I stay there over Onederz or somewhere similar… no. There’s no power in the rooms from 1-5 but there’s SO many power cuts throughout the day and night. The beds were spacious and comfy and walking distance to the beach which was really nice. I ate there once and it was mid. Close to nestival if you’re staying for that reason but overall just hot and dark (due to all the power cuts). The reception always has power FYI.

Extended my stay for two times. Great location, close to Nestival and the beach as well as and kind people. Nice scenery and great food which u can pay by cart without fees.

Koh rong lagoon hostel is potentially one of the strangest hostel experiences we’ve ever had and wouldn’t feel safe as a solo traveler. The location is good but not well lit walk through the jungle which is something to bear in mind. The facilities were basic but fine. Our main problem was the staff and lack of organisation. The rooms have no locks and the staff seem to keep there belongings in the room and can enter as they please. We were woken up one night to staff (we think)/ strangers w...

lovely hostel just a 5 minute scenic walk from the beach. Stayed in both private and dorm rooms and both were clean.

loved it here. most friendly hosts! its a cool vibe, a 5 minute walk away from everything but thats what makes the vibe so chill. feels very clean, beds are huge, the ac is a blessing. and you can meat fun people here :)

We loved our stay here, it was very peaceful whilst also still being close to Nest. We had two private rooms which were super spacious and clean. Negatives were: Shower was cold. No shelves in the room to put things anywhere. One of the showers leaked into the bedroom. There wasn’t much going on, wasn’t very social. However I think it’s more of a chill vibe so we didn’t mind!
