Salacia Palm Beach

Great getaway and serene however the vibe between ownership and their employees seemed very tense and strange. Also the wifi didn’t work anywhere and we were told it was because they needed to buy more data or something of that nature. Pretty disappointing considering my girlfriend had important work calls. That being said, we still enjoyed the property a ton .

Cet emplacement au calme est très agréable. Il y avait beaucoup de familles sur place. Le dortoir était bien avec une moustiquaire et un ventilateur. On a pu avoir une séance de yoga gratuite le matin.

Ik vond het een heel fijn hostel. Ik zat in een dorm, een hutje van 4 personen. Het was schoon en het voelde alsof je je eigen plekje had. Het was een mooi strand, fijn om even tot rust te komen op het drukke eiland. Je komt er door een scootertje te huren (10 á 15 dollar per dag). Vanuit hier kan je ook naar andere mooie stranden in de buurt of een tour boeken via het hostel. Het hostel heeft ook spelletjes en lekker eten! De eigenaresse is Nederlands en heel lief, en leuk personeel.

Schöne Location am Strand, abseits von allem Trubel. Das Zimmer war einfach aber schön. Die Wasserhähne waren etwas seltsam, das Wasser lief nicht gut ab. Wenige Steckdosen und über eine Hängematte oder Sitzgelegenheiten hätten wir uns gefreut. Es gibt Mückennetze für die Betten, was auch sehr notwendig ist. Am Strand gibt es liegen und Hängematten. Haupt Kritikpunkt ist eigentlich das Personal, das zwar meist freundlich aber wenig aufmerksam war sodass wir lange warten mussten.

Had an amazing 2 night stay. beautiful and calm beach area with spacious bungalows with good service all day long. The owner and the staff were very helpful.

The hostel is a bit far away from the rest but it was so relaxing & they rent scooters, so we explored the island from there. The staff is super friendly & we had a really good time there.

Très bel emplacement avec un personnel aux petits soins (prêt de masque et tuba par exemple) et un cadre tout simplement idyllique. N'hésitez pas, c'est un endroit plus reculé qui demandera 20mn de scooter depuis la côte animée mais ça vaut clairement le coup pour la tranquillité de la plage et le confort de l'espace !

🚨AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!🚨 The owners constantly mistreat and verbally abuse the local staff. Unfortunately the staff have to endure such abuse as they don't have a choice of jobs in this country. The local staff are super nice and were pretty cheerful, until the owners showed up. The location is pretty far from everything else (25min drive) and tuktuks are around $15 every trip. Lockers in the bedrooms are useless. They only have wifi at the restaurant.

The property is quite “remote” from the rest of the island. Which is totally fine and even lovely if you want to relax for a couple of days ! Better have a bike if you want to be flexible. The overall mood is pretty laid back. Plenty of food is offered, which is good because there is nothing else around. The staff is very nice and helpful but I was sad when I saw some of the previous reviews (from Google) being true. The management does not seem to treat the staff really well … :(

Un petit havre de paix ! Une plage magnifique, un bar de plage. Un séjour idyllique. J'ai prolongé de 2 nuits. Un dortoir avec tout ce qu'il faut, un ventilateur par personne. Pas d'airco soyez prévenus, mais personnellement j'ai trouvé le ventilateur suffisant.

The bungalows where are the dorms are really nice, it’s very simple but comfort. There is a mosquito net in each bed. It’s a very chill place to relax and you can rent motor bike to explore the island. It’s close to many beautiful places. You can enjoy a private gorgeous palm beach with deckchairs and hammocks, good restaurant, very lovely staff (very helpful and with some great volunteers) and activities (boat trip with snorkeling, fishing, sunset and swim with luminescent plancton). Just...

A little desapointed about the location, very far from everything and had to pay 30$ a day for a tuktuk to move from the hotel. We were in shared bedroom and you have to know that WiFi is only available at the reception and not in the rooms. When we arrive they gave us only one bed (we were two) and they told us to take an other one but none of the other beds in the room were done. I talked with the boss on WhatsApp before coming and arriving at the hotel she was here but not even said hello.

Rats in the dorm rooms, no wifi, no warm water. restaurant is only open in intervals. lonely beach is very close, long beach 15-30mins. the palm beach is beautiful :)

Great hostel! Staff were super friendly and made an effort to look after everyone. Comfy beds with a personal fan. Beaches in the area are the best on the island. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is the distance to the south part of the island. Would recommend sharing taxis when possible.

It was a great accomondation, if you want a relaxed time at the Beach. It was quiet with a private Beach and we had the dorm room to our selves. The staff was super nice. The Food was a bit on the pricier side but realy good. If you don‘t have a motobike the only Option to eat something is their Restaurant.
