En 8 mois en Amérique centrale, c’est le 1er qui est à se point négligé niveau propriété. Et pourtant un coup de balais et du papier au toilettes c’est pas compliqué

The hosts very kind to us, but unfortunately neither the bed or the bathroom were clean. At the last moment they put a 5th girl in our room in a matress so we couldn’t move. The lockers didn’t lock properly because there was a whole in it and you could easily put your hand in it (brought our own locks, because the “lockers” don’t have it). The breakfast was good. The hostel is under constructiony

It could be lovely but needs a lot of attention to bring it up to an acceptable level. There are too many things to mention, everything feels past its best and needs replacing. Very good location and the staff were fine and friendly.

Great location, just one block from the square with access to restaurants, bars and tour operators. The only hiccup was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room but that’s not a game changer

The hotel is still under construction. Our room was incredibly dirty and smelled and looked extremely mouldy. My boyfriend and I had trouble sleeping because we coughed a lot and could not breathe properly. The shower did not work.The TV was ripped off the wall.In the morning, there was no breakfast although the booking said free breakfast would be included.When we filed the complaint, we were overcharged, had to pay in cash and were not given a receipt.

We checked out just before 00:00 on our 3rd night because of the male employee. We went out for less than 5 mins. As we opened the door to our female dorm, the male employee was in my locker going through it. He had a tool in his hand to pull the hooks off the locker. As we came in he threw the money he took on the bed and ran out. We packed our stuff and left as we were scared. We walked past him when leaving and he had changed his top from black to white like we’d not recognise him! I’d av...

Casa Yunuem ist wirklich nett, aber so richtig nett wurde es vor allem durch Alexa, den Host, die wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich war. Am Abreisetag ist sie extra früher aufgestanden, damit wir noch Frühstück bekommen. Die Küche ist leider bisschen spärlich mit nur einer Kochstelle ausgestattet und hat halt "Hostelhygienestandard". Aber insgesamt eine volle Empfehlung

The location of this hostel is great but unfortunately, during my stay there it was really run-down, dirty (not just unclean but dirty - the common areas, the bathroom, the rooms, the kitchen). The beds in the dorm were rickety and falling apart. I don’t think anyone else was staying there while I was there! Would really not recommend this hostel to anyone, unfortunately - I left after one night.

We booked the room but didnt stay there. Upon arrival it became clear that it is an construction site. They re still building the place. And the room We booked was dirty en smelly. I would recommend to the owner to first finish the place before opening, to properly clean the rooms and then still lower their prices.

I was the only person at this hostel (Dec 2023). Bit of an eerie feeling to it. Still under construction and the beds were really sunk in. But the staff were nice.

Was initially unsure of this hostel due to the lack of recent reviews on website . However, our stay here was comfy, clean and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was great too - toast, cereal and fresh fruit made to order. There weren't many people staying but there were good social spaces so lots of potential. free bike rental was great too. free the pet terrapin though!

Top location, really friendly staff. Wifi was very bad at our room! Breakfast was fruits, toast, coffee and jam. Wouldnt recommend it for solo travellers.

Die Ausstattung (Möbel, Matratze Küchenausstattung usw.) sind bereits ziemlich in Mitleidenschaft genommen. Die Grundhygiene ist mittelmäßig, auch, wenn sich das freundliche Personal bemüht, den Dreck des Tages zu beseitigen. Da die Unterkunft im Ort mitunter die günstigste ist, welche zu finden war, okay. Wenn man sehr viel wert auf Sauberkeit und Komfort legt, solle man eventuell woanders unter kommen.

Casa Yunuem was good for the $ you pay, EXCEPT for cleanliness. OMG this place needs major cleaning. kitchen, bathroom, rooms, very , very dirty. Location is good and we felt safe. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very simple; bakery next door. Walk From ADO not bad. Would only stay again if they did some good deep cleaning. Bacalar a MUST see, the best place for us was where the walking bridge above water is found. All that area was spectacular.

It wasnt clean at all, especially in the toilet/bathroom. There were missing toilet paper and no bag in the trash can. The shower was cold and there were hair everywhere. Also there was a really weird smell at the lounge area. Our beds had like a hole in the middle so we sank down, and there were spots on the sheets. My friend didn’t even sleep in a bed, she slept on a mattress on the floor. There were no shell to put your phone or stick nearby the bed. We can’t recommend this place.

J’ai du dormir sur un matelas au sol! La très petite chambre comprenait 6 lits dont 2 matelas directement au sol. 0 confort. 4 prises pour 6 mises à des endroits peu pratiques. La chambre et les sanitaires étaient très très sales et la douche sans eau chaude. J’ai dû réclamer pour qu’on change mes draps du lit qui n’avait pas été fait depuis la personne aillant quitté les lieux la veille. C’est inacceptable pour le prix.
