Mad Monkey Luang Prabang

Hostel has great atmosphere with lots of social activities each day and tours running daily. Staff were friendly particularly Wai who made sure everyone was welcomed and had a fun stay!

The property had a great atmosphere with lots of social activities planned for each day. Rosie was very friendly and helpful in welcoming us to Luang Prabang and giving us advice on our next few days there. Overall the hostel was a great vibe!

My first time at a mad monkey and I really enjoyed myself - the team are really lovely, particularly Rosie who made an effort to speak to everyone and always had great energy for games. Would come back!

Location was annoying as 25 min walk to get to anything and tuk tuks are expensive. Really good atmosphere though and really fun over Laos New Year

I had a great time at this hostel, very clean, social and fun with lots of great facilities. Jack, Rosie and Wai made my time there especially good. They are all great reps that are happy to help with any questions and are all good fun. Jack was especially amazing with his brilliant barber skills. If you’re staying at this hostel and need a haircut he will sort you right out. Would definitely recommend!

Location is about a 20 minute walk from the night market, ac’s in the rooms barely work, and the drains smell absolutely rotten. Decent vibes in the evening, and on the quieter side for a mad monkey, which was nice. Pro tip, if you’re wanting to do the Nong khiaw tour, look into booking it through 12 go or elsewhere, it was more expensive at mad monkey and very unorganized. My first Mad Monkey, had a blast for 4 days, Jack, Rosie and Waikauri are all legends and made the evening events so enjoyable

Solid stay in Luang Prabang, shame about burning season though. Big ups Jack, Wai and Rosie for bringing the vibes during our stay! Only things to improve would be the showers were freezing cold, and also you guys should deffo stock Beer Lao Lemon (its the f****** goat).
