Hullam Hostel

Al principio no me atendieron muy bien, despues llegó otra persona del hotel y me atendió mejor. Le falta mantenimiento y chispa al lugar.

Buena experiencia en Hullam Hostel. Personal amable, atmósfera muy agradable, un lugar muy adecuado y económico para disfrutar del precioso lago Balaton.

The staff were super nice. However, there were a lot of insects in the room. Spiders and bed bugs. The cleanliness could be improved definitely. Please check all beds for spiders and bed bugs before travellers arrive.

This hostel offers everything you need. Nothing more nothing less. It reminded me of hostels in South America as everything is done by the family themselves. It’s quite and the location is good to spent some time at the lake es well es to have a little hike. Good for spending some days in a not too crowded area of the balaton.

I loved the place! It's very close to everything you may need - beach, train station, grocery shop etc. People there were very welcoming, felt like it's a family business. I was really sad to leave:( Small things that I hope were there - more sockets in rooms (in my room there were 2 sockets for 5 beds) and a mirror:) Thank you for your hospitality!:)

cosy and very nice vibe in the common areas, not a lot of guest when we were there wish was nice. The 4 bed romm was nice and had what was needed

Good hostel, good location, good price.

Great staff and hostel atmosphere.

It's cheap and the location is good but the hostel is in bad condition. The rooms don't have curtains in the windows (you get the sun on your face at 5 AM), mattresses are paper thin, there was a horrendous pee smell in the showers, there are spider webs everywhere (this place hasn't been properly cleaned in a very long time). There's a super small kitchen outside for guests. Besides that, the people are cool and there's a nice bar.

Very nice hostel at Lake Balaton, only 200 m. from Revfülöp railway station. Basic, but very nice atmosphere; excellent staff, Nice bar.

Location was the only good thing about it, no air con, terrible sleep and dirty. Ended up getting quite sick after staying here

The vibe of the place is awesome. It has a nice pub and you can rent bikes here, also store your own. The problem was that there were bedbugs in multiple rooms whuch was a bummer.

An extremely helpful and nice host with good English. Beautiful location, so peaceful and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again, yes the showers were handheld but that's manageable and the mattress was a bit firm, yet I had the best sleep in a long time. The bakery had a very nice selection with a lovely woman who actually spoke good English although she thought she didn't. Very worth the sidetrip from Budapest.

Leider hatte es noch nicht geöffnet. Aber es wurde extra für mich hergerichtet. Es hat alles was man braucht und war super. Kann es sehr empfehlen. Sicherer Platz für's Motorrad inbegriffen. Weiß nicht, warum jemand am Balaton Urlaub macht, aber auf einer Fahrrad- oder Motorradtour sehr gut als Übernachtung. Danke für alles

I stayed only one night and I needed only a bed over night. A basic hostel, but everything I needed, clean. I like to thank the owner, becouse he made so much for my hospitality.

we booked one month before and wrote them for the availability of the bikes but they call us just a couple of hours before reaching asking us if we really wanna come and advising that there wasn't anybody there and no facilities ... the hostelis in a good location but just in the peak season.

Loved this place. I’ve forgotten their names, but the two men who work there are so sweet. He gave me advice on the best place to eat, how to get to the pier, and general advice for the town! I didn’t get to see much as I was feeling sick, but they gave me some honey for my throat when I said I had been feeling unwell and genuinely offered to help me with anything I needed. It felt very home-y and I needed that!

Great hostel if you want to explore the amazing local countryside. Very relaxed atmosphere.
