Accueil très aimable, chambre fonctionnelle et propre, mais c'est cher pour un hostel.
Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable at all in this hostel. Checking in was super complicated and the first thing you smell when you walk through the door is mold. We felt like we were constantly being watched due to all the cameras in the hostel and also didn't feel comfortable around the host as he seemed a bit controlling. There was mold in the shower, no towels and it cost 5€ to store your luggage just to have it in the hallway. The value for money is definitely not right at all.
100% recomendable!!
Amazing hostel, highly recommended! super clean and comfy, the host was absolutely excellent, very responsive and kind and excited to show off the island. We would come back to stay 100%
We had an amazing stay at Passal Hostel! Paulo went above and beyond to treat everyone like family, calling us by our names and offering helpful information on the area. The hostel itself was clean, safe, and cozy!
Terrible place would never call this a hostel payed 100 euros a night got a s***** bad not kitchen and its more of a 2 star hotel. Because there was not kitchen we asked for a different place the managers made of pay 175 euros more for another place. When we got there there was cockroaches every where including the kitchen and all so he forgot to mention that every helf an hour from 7 am there is a church who doesn't stop to ring there bells. All so cheap ass breakfast don't expect somtinggood
The hostel had potential, but overall, the experience fell short of expectations. The antique kitchen was a beautiful feature that could have added a lot of character, but unfortunately, they didn’t seem to take full advantage of it—no communal fridge and not much of a social vibe. The facilities were clean, and the host and staff were friendly and accommodating, but it was quite noisy with early morning construction starting at 7 a.m.
Super nice host, def recommend a stay here!
Clean and good location. Not very social and there were no staff there most of the time
Great hostel! Every clean, the breakfast was good and great attention from the host explaining everything we can do on the island. The rooms are spacious and the multiple bathrooms and showers that are always clean Thanks for the hospitality and the warmth! Chaima
Lovely stay. We had never been to a hostel where things were so well arranged for us, for example car rentals, bookings and tours. In addition we got a lot of information on what to do on the island and when to do them from Paulo the first day we got there, but he was also available every day of our stay to help us out with any problems we may have. Thank you Paulo and Passal Hostel for helping to make our stay in the Azores so incredible! :)
Paulo (the owner) is a great host. He arranged a good rental car for me. He also made a itinerary and he takes the time to explain it to each guest. It’s a clean, small and quiet hostel. For me personally the mattress was too hard and it caused me back pain and lack of sleep during my stay. Unfortunately a good night of sleep is the most important part of staying in a accommodation. If you don’t mind a harder mattress and like a quiet hostel, I definitely recommend this place.
Este lugar es ideal, súper limpio, cómodo, con un buen desayuno y Paulo siempre está muy pendiente de todo lo que puedas necesitar y te hace las recomendaciones y guía de lugar a visitar. ¡Muy recomendado este hostal!
Very nice hostel! Very quite and people don’t really come together in this hostel but the location was perfect and everything was super clean and perfectly organised
Very good Hostel. Superb Owner and very professional and helpful. I truly suggest it.
Paulo was so amazing. He came up with a guide that kept my friend and I out and about for 12+ hours a day for our 4 days there. He definitely made our trip. I really like that there is a female- only bathroom and that there are curtains on all of the beds. Its not the most social place, but that was fine for me as I had a friend with me to explore
Great stay in Ponta Delgada :) Paulo (the owner) made our trip so much better by always being so attentive and giving us great recommendations! He even has a booklet with hikes/routes to do every day around the island :) would definitely come back again & recommend to anyone. Also super clean facilities & nice breakfast plus cute area to chill.
I had the best time! Paulo was wonderful. Helped us rent a car and gave us detailed itineraries of what to follow each day. Helped with transport to and from the airport. The place is very clean the bathrooms are beautiful. Very calm quiet hostel but the entire island is calm and quiet. I would absolutely return. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler
One of my favorite hostel experiences ever! Paulo was an amazing host and made me feel very welcome as soon as he picked me up from the airport. He also connected me with other guests so we could explore the island together. The hostel itself is fantastic! Clean and comfortable and only a short walk into town. I'd love to come back again sometime! I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ponta Delgada
