très bien situé, calme et propre

It’s my first time staying in a hostel. I’ve resisted for a long time. But this place was amazing. Great location. The staff members I interacted with virtually and in person were wonderful. The roommates (both mine and from other floors ) were all cordial and demonstrated camaraderie.

Super aangename hostel, dichtbij het centrum en een heel vriendelijke host. Aanrader! Enkel de matrassen waren voor ons niet super, dit is dan ook het enige aandachtspuntje.

Amazing hostel for a clean, convenient and peaceful stay. Not so much a social/party hostel but for our specific trip this was perfect. The place was immaculately clean and very well kept. Great kitchen and out door facilities. Thank you to Rui, our host, who was very friendly and smily!

Loved staying here, but as others have echoed, it's not a very social place. I stayed at Out of the Blue hostel 2 mins from Magma before transferring here, and made a bunch of friends there. If I hadn't done that, my trip would have looked very different and quite lonely. However, having the facilities of Magma combined with being able to socialise at Out of the Blue turned out to be way better for me in terms of comfort and rest. One small note: bed is quite hard and pillow a bit thin.

Very clean, very modern, very quiet. Rui is very helpful and kind.

Mon séjour au Magma Hostel fut très agréable, tout était parfait. Riu, le manager, est d’une efficacité hors paire. Il coordonne efficacement les opérations et la gestion et il se rend disponible dès qu’on le contacte. Je recommande cet Hostel.

Alles was super. Rui de beheerder/eigenaar was super aardig. Altijd alles met een glimlach. Altijd bereid om te helpen. Een leuke locatie. Super schoon. Aanrader voor iedereen.

Best hostel we’ve stayed in. Rui couldn’t have been any more helpful. Was there to meet and greet and answered queries very quickly. Even sent details of restaurants, taxis etc. perfect host. Magma is in a great location close to the centre of town. Fantastic facilities and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be staying on our next visit - thank you Rui

El Hostel está en un sitio muy cómodo en el que llegas rápido al centro, y si vas con coche de alquiler lo puedes aparcar ahí. Las instalaciones están muy nuevas y está todo siempre súper limpio. La cama es cómoda y la almohada es balndita y buena. Hay muy buen ambiente en el hostel y nos hemos sentido muy cómodas. Y, para nosotras lo más importante, Rui el dueño ha sido súper amable y nos ha ayudado con todo. El mejor hostel en el que nos hemos quedado

This was one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Very clean and peaceful. The beds were also very comfortable.

We had a fab four nights at Magma! Such a nice female dorm with a lovely bathroom, towels, comfortable beds, secure locks & lockers, great kitchens and AC in the room which will be a godsend in the later summer months. Rui is a wonderful host, giving us a spare front door key so we could leave our bags at the hostel after checkout for our flight later in the evening - I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The nicest hostel ive stayed in. It feels more like an air-bnb than a hostel, very spacious and clean. The place is cleaned daily. This hostel was perfect, two kitchens, multiple balconies and a deck area in the back, two living room areas. The dorm is very big with an ensuite and plenty of storage for your things. It is very quiet at night and the room has a bunch of natural light. The only thing that could better about this place is allowing for luggage storage before check-in.

One of the best hostels I've ever been! Genuinely felt like a home away from home. Host Rui will kindly welcome you and help you with any questions. The hostel is clean, spacious and loved the cosy livingroom and clean kitchen. It's a quiet hostel but perfect for meeting fellow solo travellers, even during low season. Ended up staying here twice because I loved it so much!

Nice and quiet hostel in a prime location near the city centre. The rooms were very clean and there are several common areas both inside and outside for you to relax. Rui was a fantastic host and replies quickly to you if you need him. I had a wonderful stay in this charming city.

Extremely well taken care of. Great kitchen! Calm and well located in the center of town. Highly recommend!
