The Holy Cow - Hostel & Suites

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The people here are incredibly sweet, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel comfortable and were always ready to help with anything I needed. They are very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure guests have a pleasant experience.

An excellent place to stay. The hostel is fantastic, everything is perfectly maintained, and you can tell they pay attention to every little detail. The breakfasts are plentiful and high-quality, and the staff genuinely cares about making sure you start your day well. There were even days when I skipped breakfast, and they noticed; they checked on me and kindly offered something to eat outside regular hours. Wonderful beautiful Holy Cow Hostel. Everything was easy. I came and was treated with dignity, and kindness. The staff and owner are good people. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean. They offer towels and even to take out if you are going to the hot springs. The value is excellent and there is a fine breakfast offered every morning. I felt very safe.

Clean, close to the centre of the old town, nice breakfast provided and very friendly and helpful host. The dormitory is spacious and there is lots of room to store your gear. Lockers are provided.

Lovely hostel. The staff were very friendly and gave great tips on how to explore the island. The hostel was very clean, quiet and a lovely breakfast is provided each morning. It’s very centrally located. A 5 min drive to the airport and 5 min walk to the centre of Ponta Delgada.

Our stay here was fantastic! Clear, friendly communication, a great room, helpful staff full of great recommendations, delightful breakfasts. We were traveling with our baby and our needs were taken care of before we could even ask: the crib was already set up in our room, breakfast table was already set with high chair and baby dishes and utensils, plus since there was no one checking into our room on our check out day, they came up to let us know we could keep the room until we left for naps.

We had a really good experience at the Holy Cow. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and gave sightseeing tips and the breakfast buffet was great. Definitely recommend this place.

It was an awesom stay. It was the best host, always giving tips and recommendations for the day. Always clean and nice breakfast. The kitchen was always free to use. Free parking spots in the area around.

Great hostel experience!. Nice atmosphere and decor, super clean, and many well thought out details that make the experience extra comfortable and special. Street parking was a bit tricky at end of day but that is part of being close to a city center. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Very nice and helpful host and clean hostel! Our room wasn’t as beautiful as displayed in the pictures, but still very clean with very comfortable matrassess and airco. At night we heard a person in the room above us walking up and down, that kept us from sleeping a bit. Also there was a renovation going on while we were there so unfortunately we couldn’t sit in the garden, which is actually why we chose the place. But that should be done now I guess. There were families staying in the host...

Its the best place to stay in Azores ! The places is so nice, the people are lovely and they are always willing to help! Also amazing breakfast ! Will come back soon ! Love the place !!!

Great stay! Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast included was really good. Check in and check out was easy. Location was great for driving up to sete cidades and exploring ponta delgado. Street parking was easily available. Great stay for the money, would definitely recommend.
