Perfect Location, private room was in serious need of renovation and windows so dirty you could not even look through it, there was no hot water and the shared bathrooms were really dirty and smelly at 10 o clock already, also the guys at the receptions did not really seem to know what they were doing and were not welcoming I left after 1 night for another place
The hosts here were some of the kindest people I've ever met, always ready to make tea and talk with guests. They have 24-hour reception, which was really helpful since I arrived late at night. I booked a single private room, which was comfortable, clean and well priced. Not overly social, but I got to talk with people hanging around the kitchen, and the upside is it's always quiet at night. Absolutely a 10/10 stay - I look forward to coming back.

We spend 6 nights at Windrose hostel and we totally recommend it. Staff: welcoming, helped us with tips and stuff we needed. Facilities: the double ensuite room was very comfortable, bright warm (also had AC) and with storage space. A window in the bathroom helps air it and for moisture to get out. Location: excellent (5min walk to Taksim where there is metro, buses, taxis and the fennicular to one of the popular harbours). There are a lot of local shops nearby. We would come back here !
Ich war im Frauen-Schlafraum und es war richtig gut! Die Lage ist perfekt, es ist ruhig und das Bett war sehr bequem! Die Leute sind sehr nett und alles ist unkompliziert! Kann es nur weiterempfehlen 😊

离塔克西姆广场很近，机场大巴下车走15分钟就到了，很好找。房间有暖气，很干净，晒得到太阳，晚上也非常安静，还有个小厨房可以做饭，厨房用具非常干净！
It was a off season so I was staying in female dorm by my self. Friendly and kind stuff, the room was very nice and clean!! There was a kitchen so that was good too. I would recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Istanbul!

okay hostel no real common room for socialising. rooms are clean with air con and hot water. beds are comfy and location is good
The location is perfect for exploring the city center and the staff are very nice and helpful with all our needs!
Amazing hostel. The area is quiet, but close to the main area in the European part of Istanbul, the kitchen is well furnished, plenty of space, the staff is great and it's pretty clean. I would definitely go back!
Location was good near to Istiklal street, bed was not comfortable only one wash room for 12 persons, kitchen was ok,

Ottima sistemazione al giusto prezzo. Vicino al centro. Sono stato male e il personale alla reception mi ha aiutato, non lo dimenticherò. La camera è idonea. Alloggio silenzioso.

Basico ma molto pulito. I ragazzi della reception sempre pronti ad aiutarti. La location è centrale e vicina ad ogni mezzo di trasporto. Ci tornerei volentieri!!!
Really good atmosphere at the hostel, staff is friendly and helpful, they work 24h a day, there is always someone there. (I was able to check in at 4am). The use of the kitchen for cooking is permitted, the private room we stayed in had a balcony, and good value for money. The design of the hostel is also very charming, and the location is perfect, there is a 24 hour corner store nearby. All in all I definitely recommend, will be staying here again!
