Melville House

Very cold in Joburg but still a pleasant stay.

I have booked 3 nights in this guesthouse in the middle of December 24 . Administarator was a bit drunk but friendly. My room was dirty but my mattress was terrible. deep hole with springs sticking out. On the next day I paid move to separate room. Room became dirty. Also it was no water 2 days there. I deal with administrator that I stay for 1 night and they refund me money for the last night.Manager had to contact with me but it didn’t happened. I came for ask and was chased

Esta retirado del centro pero se encuentra en una zona muy segura sibtu eres tú eres turista solitario puedes caminar unas cuadras y está un supermercado y el el hostal puedes hacer comida si quieres ir al centro comercial solo dos cuadras caminando y encontrarás muchas cosas para mirar y comprar y comer el personal siempre muy atentos a tu seguridad y los demás huéspedes puedes convivir con ellos como si fueran una familia todos yo saludaba a todos es raro mirar mexicanos acá en esta ciud...

C'est une bonne adresse à Johannesburg même si on est peu loin du centre ville,

the best! We were short of some local currency and they instantly offered to give us some to adjust later! amazing team!! they also instantly changes our room and when we had some feedback on the earlier one. would love to visit again! highly recommended! location is great, very close to restaurants and pubs!

Hostel situé dans le quartier de Melville , pas loin à pied de la 7th street. Bon rapport qualité/prix, simple, personnel très sympa et agréable.

nice place. good correct price for that hostel individual room with private bathroom (+-30€). Well located close fancy area to have dinner & karaoke.

absolutely unexpected and amazing moment at Melville House ! They are really welcoming, helpful.... if you're looking for a family/party/viby hostel go straight to this place! Thanks to all the staff and especially AK for your time! wish you all the best ! ❤️

I have been visiting here for years now- starting back in 2011 too much history will leave it there..seen many changes at the place over the years - Wish them well and good ..

Melville House was the best hotel I stayed in Joburg. The Staff is amazing, I had the opportunity to make a lot of friends there. Totally recomed for solo travalers or to who wants to know nice people! I'll come back definetly.
