Zostel Mumbai

Nice place, though a little away from main road.

Zostel Mumbai made our first visit to a big Indian city unforgettable. The staff were welcoming and supportive, and we always felt safe. Our room was clean, and the food at their restaurant was absolutely delicious. Their tips helped us explore the city like locals, and we loved every moment of it! The common areas had a fantastic vibe that made meeting other travelers and locals so much fun.

Good place

The staff at the cafe and food is below average, it was difficult since the property is far from anywhere you could go and eat, this guy at the cafe who was taking order was talking so rude and behaving as if he was doing a favour. The food is over prices as per the quality, quantity and taste. Didn’t like it much as when my room was empty and i walked in some random guy was talking on the phone, like wtf? He was not living in that room. There were no events except for cricket and football sh...

really small rooms....difficult to move around.... not clean... staircase narrow. everything is extremely small.

Zostels are always best, and each one if them has a plus point, the one for this is that owners sings very well and as well play really nice guitar. Cherry on top: When you reach there ask for Sam/Sammy, you won't be disappointed to meet him.

Staff were fantastic

The staff is kind and helpful. the food in the cafe was good but a bit overpriced. It’s close to the airport but far away from the centre (1/1:30 hours by car). Mostly used by native workers than by travellers. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience, not due to the hostel, but due to two roommates. Two girls in our dormitory decided to arrive wasted at 4 in the morning, turn on all of the lights, and make a lot of noise. The day after they did the same thing even after being reprehended.

Gutes Hostel nahe des Flughafens.

It was a good hostel for one night in between flights. I came in the early morning and was allowed to common area to get a some rest - that was nice. Close to the airport, quite cheap. Otherwise it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Good stay. Good facilities. Decent for a night after you land.

An ok ok place. Felt weird.

Honestly, a terrible hostel. There is 0 vibe and it should be criminal to charge 300 rupees to do your own laundry. The staff that clean the room seem like they hate you. Finally, its no fun to have the gestapo tell you, you cannot eat food in the outside cafe.

Was meant to stay 4 nights here but wnded up leaving after 1. It's a real shame that a hostel that describes itself as a backpacker spot seemed to just be used by business people on work trips wanting somewhere close to the airport to stay. If you are a foreign tourist wanting to meet other travellers I would stay elsewhere. Room was small for 8 people and staff turned a blind eye to a bed occupied by a couple resulting in an 8 bed room for 9 people. Good location for airport and nice food.

The night Manager Villas was Anna split j*** agued with me as I was checking out early morning as I was heading for work and in a rush he delayed me and reported me to the management and has blacklisted me for my reaction to his wrong doing and abusive nature. Yes I did reply him back harsh and yes I accept I did get angry and that was purely because of the way he treated me by raising his voice and using profanity for me asking me back for my deposit

Don’t bother with this one. Way overpriced for what you get. It’s 1hr30 to the city. Staff are plain rude. Half the facilities they advertise don’t work. It takes longer for the hot water to come through than it does have a shower. Rooms are cramped af. And as if the air quality wasn’t bad enough in this city there’s no limits on the smokers which are scrawling about everywhere 🤮

Good stay. Nice hostel. Location is good. Well connected.

Locality is filthy, not the cleanest place, they don't change sheets often. Staff is alright. Not the best experience.

The Chain Zostel is a chain with good ideas, but they do not bring their projects to end. They are so many things in this hostel they should improve. The idea itself is really good, but for example: -no space outside to hang your clothes after washing, they told us we could hang our fresh washed clothes in the stinky smoking room... -There is no kitchen to use - not even a Kettler... -Water in the bathroom was leaking from the roof.
