Serena

This was by far the most beautiful Hostel I’ve stayed in so far. The hostel is located on a little hill near Flores Island. You take the Boat from Island to little port where they drop you off. You walk up the hill and beside you are the homes of the locals. You enter the property of Neil, who is the owner. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets over floris island on the terrace / in the garden. We had a very nice stay at Serena hostel. The host was great and welcoming, he fixed a mistake we made with the booking and shared his expert knowledge for travelling. The pool, the giant garden with many animals (even a family of monkeys) and the view on the island Flores and the lake are just amazing. the huts are nice and although there is no kitchen, they offer dinner on some days or give recommendations for eating outwards. We would highly recommend a stay!

We had a very nice stay at Serena hostel. The Staff was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome during our stay. The hostel has a great view over Flores island and is only a short boat ride away!
