Staff were super friendly, facilities were good but came away with really awful bed bug bites (private room 8). Contacted them to let them know & they said they will sort it though but had to put it in my review!

There are BED BUGS!!! I stayed for 3 nights and after the 2nd night I woke up covered in bed bug bites (room 1). I immediately told the staff but they said they solved the problem back in October but obviously didnt clean properly. Apart from that the bathrooms are pretty run down but the location is good. Would choose another hostel next time

Believe the reviews- they have bed bugs. First night, I found a blood stained pillow on my “clean” bed. Second night, my friends met me and checked into the hostel, but it was too late. I have over 50 bites all over my body. It’s horrific. We talked to the staff and they got us a new room. On top of everything, one of my friends locker was broken upon arrival. Stayed from October 25-29th. Never again. Book elsewhere.

Before arriving, I read some reviews saying there were bed bugs, so I asked them if it was true when I arrived and they said "no". I spent 5 nights there and have been bitten at least 30 times and it's itchy as hell. Don't go there.

All the staffs were very nice, specially the Brazilian girl from the reception. unfortunately I left with at least 40 bites of bedbugs. I have complained 3 days in a row and they couldn’t solve our rooms problem. From 6 people, 4 got literally attacked by bed bugs every night. My face, shoulders, arms, back and legs are covered of bites. we needed to sleep in the lounge. Would I come back? Just to have free sangrias and meet people in the hostel.

Felt welcome from arrival, reception staff were friendly. Free sangria every night is good for socialising and the soup on Sunday is lovely. There was an issue with bed bugs but the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Hairdryer in the girls bathroom was also great. I’d stay again!

Bed bug alert! A conflicting review to make as I loved the hostel, but the bed bugs really sucked. I did not find signs of them on my bed or things, I found them in the wall one morning. I changed rooms twice after that and in those rooms I did not find bugs. Still, I will spend the rest of my trip paranoid and scared. Ugh.

overall good but I was unlicky to have bed bugs in my bed, the staff has however been very helpful in transferring me to another room and making sure that all was ok. The other bed did not have bed bugs

So not a good review because from the 2 days of my stay I wasn't able to sleep properly because of bed bugs.. I rreported the issue and they only changed the bed sheets but that wasn't enough... I had really bad nights because I was bitten all the time by those bugs and it was awfully scratching me in my back, arms. So I sent them an email but they never answered me back.

There were bed bugs in room 7! In the morning I woke up with bed bug bites across my body. This was not pleasant at all and caused a major inconvenience. This needs to be taken care. for positives, I can say the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is very good

I loved this Hostel, the staff was kind and helpful. The building its swlfswlfself is beautiful, and the location is perfect, couple blocks from the time out market, a road up from pink street, close to metro and a 10 minute walk fromfrom ththe Train. My only complaint is that there was an incident with bed bugs- which they did handle immediately, and efficiently

Bed bugs!!! Everything was great, really nice staff, and close to the city center, but someone in my dorm saw a bed bug and I found bites on myself the next day. This was October/November 2023 btw

The hostel is in a good location but sadly this is the only good thing. Even though the rooms are spacious, I suffered bed bug bites. Along with this the ‘vibe’ might be social but it’s so social the man next to me had a female visitor in his bed meaning I woke up to lovely sounds of kissing, mmmm.

Place was nice enough. Very big and super social. Would stay here again. Only thing was I think someone found bedbugs right after I left so keep an eye out. Check your mattress.

*AVOID - Initially great - spacious kitchen, comfy common area, and social events. Nightmare began with bed bugs. A professional dealing with Sergio, turned extremely sour with his colleague miss grumpy, recognisable by her grumpy demeanour and unwelcoming facial expressions. Tried to shift blame that, bed bugs were my issues and unless I paid more I would have to change rooms ( back to the infested bed bug room ) The lack of accountability and professionalism was appalling. Avoid at all costs*

BED BUGS. Do not stay. They’re aware of the bed bugs but say there isn’t much they can do besides spray. Also, they say they needed cash only to pay for the tourist tax because that’s just the way it is but the tourist tax was included in my card payment method at other hostels there.

I had an excellent time here! The bathroom facilities are good, location was central and close to main spots. The staff were excellent. Did have an issue with the AC not working well and the swipe cards sometimes didnt work. Did have a friend get bedbugs but the staff handled the situation well.

Good location and great atmosphere. Really easy to meet people with the free sangria every night. However, my friends had bed bugs in their beds but I was fortunate enough to avoid this.

WATCH OUT. I got severe bed bugs - my entire body covered badly in bites which unfortunately ruined the remainder of my trip. I reached out to the hostel to let them know about this and didn’t even receive a reply back. Now I need to worry about bringing them home with me. The lock on our room did not work and this wasn’t addressed over the entire length of my 5 day stay. I even got locked out of the room multiple times as a result of this and had to wait over 40 minutes to be let in on one occasion becaus

Beware of bed bugs!!! I woke up with 5 in my bed. It took a couple days for the bites to appear (this is normal) and I was absolutely covered. Would not recommend, especially as staff appear to be knowledgeable based on other recent reviews and have not taken action.

Woke up with bed bug bites all over me… didn’t realize until the day I was leaving and the bites showed up. Room overall and bathroom didn’t feel the cleanest. The only plus is the good location (right by pink st), and free sangria every night. However, I saw other reviews from this past summer mentioning bed bugs too, so I would do a thorough check and be VERY careful

One hour after we arived we found out there are bedbugs in our room. The staff told us that there were bedbugs before but thought they were gone. We needed to book another hostel and clean our stuff. The staff promised us to give the the money back, but even after calling for a few times they didn't. Im very dissapointed.

I found bed bugs in my room and when I told the management about it they went to check the room and found one that was “dead” and said they didn’t find any other ones so they weren’t going to clean the sheets or room. The other people in my room also had bites. They then acted super annoyed that I had made such a big deal out of it and gave really horrible attitude back.

BEG BUGS: Found many bed bugs in our room and was bitten numerous times. All other rooms were occupied, and the staff did not offer myself and fellow roommates an alternative location to stay at or any money to book another place. They asked us to sit up in the common area for the entire night and then later asked us to clean up our stuff/ move out of the way because other people wanted to use the space. Overall, felt like they did not care about accommodating us whatsoever. Organizing even just a partial refund was difficult, and we were met with a lot of pushback.

Everything was going well until I found bed bugs crawling around me before I went to sleep. The staff was very helpful to me because I showed them a video but they didn’t do anything for the others in my room, which was concerning. If you risk to stay here, search high and low before getting into a bed.

Nice rooms and beds but found the hostel to not be as social as I’d hoped. Suggestion of possible bed bugs. Free sangria is great though, and staff were lovely.

BED BUGS!!!!!! On our stay my friend had many bites. After finding some bed bugs in the wooden foundation of the bed we went to reception and they made us change rooms for the night. The next day they brought us back to the room saying that it was now cleaned but as we settled in we saw the same bed bugs NOTHING HAD CHANGED. They were fully booked now so we had to leave on short notice. They told us they'd give us a refund if we sent an email but they haven't answered. They also lost our clothes

BEDBUGS! I stayed at Lost in Lisbon July 28-30, 2022. The 1st night I got 1 bite, which I thought could've came from anywhere (not necessarily bedbugs). The 2nd night I got 15 more bites. I told the manager and he was very accommodating. He washed all my clothes in hot water and allowed me to change rooms/beds. The 3rd night I got 10 more bites, so I decided to cut my stay short. The manager gave me a full refund. Everything else was fine. Hopefully they fix the bedbugs situation.

I unfortunately woke up at 4AM with over 25 bed bug bites on me. Happened on the first night of my stay. Staff wasn’t very helpful when it happened. Just warning my fellow backpackers because I know that if it were me, I would want to be informed about this before booking.

There is a huge issue with cleanliness, we had bedbugs and the bathrooms were not up to par. Would not recommend unless you don’t mind bedbugs.
