I was the only guest staying and I felt like I was more of an inconvenience to the staff than a welcome guest. The tour itself was fun but my guide didn't actually go anywhere with me, just drove me to places and picked me up later. Asking about bedouin culture and history only got me cold and one sentence answers. The agreed tour price of 45JD turned into 55, and dinner should've been included but wasn't, another 10JD. On top of that my change was shorthanded. I hope they'll do better next time
I had an incredible stay! The location was beautiful, the facilities were clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were genuinely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, accommodating, and memorable camping experience. I’ll definitely be back!
get a jettbus to wadi rum if you solotravel and contact them beforehand to arrange transport to camp for you. weather is nice at end of october for both walk in desert and sleep at night. The tribe running the camp are kind people and speak english well.
Wadi fire camp was amazing! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their tours are great and highly recommend getting dinner here!
This place is incredible! It's a family run Bedouin camp and the family are just the nicest people. Ibrahim picked us up from Wadi Rum Village and drove us across the desert to the camp, and took us to a spot in the desert for some tea by his herd of goats and then also drove us to a lovely sunset spot. His younger brother Yusef, then sat with us at dinner and by the campfire and showed us the stars and how the Bedouins used to navigate using them. I couldn't recommend this place more, loved it!
We had the most incredible stay. Yousef and his brother made us feel so welcome, they went above and beyond to accomodate. We loved sharing tea and learning about Bedouin culture, had delicious food and then spent the evening watching and then sleeping under the stars. Beautiful and peaceful location, incredible sunrises and sunsets and clear skies. Would most definitely recommend and return in the future.
I don't often give 10/10 revises, but Fire Camp surpassed all my expectations. I had a great time. I enjoyed the food, the tour of the desert, the accommodation, and the seemingly endless supply of Bedouin tea. Ahmed really went out of his way to make sure all his guests were happy. And yet it didn't feel overdone. Just a nice, simple camp in the middle of the desert, run by cool people.
Top notch experience in Wadi Rum, the camp is nicely located in the area and the food cooked by Ahmed was amazing, but all that is nothing compared to the kindness of the staff and their hospitality. Youssef really takes care of everything when it comes to tours and fun activities, we were able to go around and see the main attractions you can find in Wadi Rum. Overall I would recommend Wadi Rum Fire Camp if you are looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.
All in all it was a nice stay, although their tours are heavily overpriced. For the standard 8h tour you will pay 50JD per person. When it should be only twice as much per car. Everything else dinner etc is fine but I can not share the positive ratings on friendliness etc. In fact the personell and owner are making themselves scarce and real jordanien friendliness starts somewhere north of petra it seems. I wanted to stay 3 nights but feeling like a gutted chicken in a trap I left wadi rum asap
Absolutely amazing experIence, not to be missed. We didn't want to leave. The food, tea and company was incredible.
Amazing place to stay I never saw the most beautiful sky 🌌 full of stars ⭐️ like in this place. The staff of amazing Yousseff is an incredible host and the chef is great and also an incredible dancer. Advise for Female solo traveler: You’ll feel better with a group or if there’s more people staying in the camp.
Fire Camp is an incredible authentic bedoin experience in the heart of wadi rum! Absolutely unforgettable. Very clean and comfortable stay. The food and tea they make are delicious and I could spend all night around the campfire watching the stars and hearing stories from Ahmad! Salim is the best tour guide and his tea is amazing! He knows the desert better than anyone and has the best sunset view! This is the type of experience you come to wadi rum for and remember for the rest of your life.
Had an absolutely incredible time, we felt so welcomed, so well looked after and the food and location were amazing
This place was incredibly well run, comfortable and an all-round fantastic experience. Strongly recommend!
Esperienza speciale che conserverò con me. I beduini sono stati tutti amichevoli e fornito spiegazioni con jeep tour e cena beduina spettacolari. Spero di tornare prima o poi nel Wadi rum con fire Camp.
Magnifique expérience.
I had an amazing time in this place, one of the days i will never forget in my life. Super friendly hosts, they were there to help me with everything i need, desert tours was unbelievable, food is so delicious and tent is clean. The only unpleasant thing in this experience was a couple of tourists that were rude and arrogant and were treating the hosts in a bad way. They were also bad with us the guests.
very friendly and helpful staff and the food they cooked was amazing! the price per night is very cheap however if you do the jeep tour for 50jd it is not that cheap anymore, but definitely worth it and a great experience.
amazing! the personal is top tier
