Well the guy at reception doesn’t care about your comfort at all. I asked for locker we gave a key for some kinda locker but then he said that the key open all of them. Breakfast is good Cleaning I do not think they clean bathroom. And actually it’s super loud from downstairs and outside no ac
The beds are good. I stayed here a couple times always one old guy that makes a lot of sounds and plays music till 1am and after snores so loud he wakes me up. The reception at night is good the young guys are kind the rest don’t really give a f***. And the cleaning ladies are very aggressive. Met some nice people here to so for the price I would say 5/10.
Waste Off Money
Recepcionist was great and overall good experience
super nice hostel, if I would come to Taschkent I would come back again :)
comfortable but boring
I liked my stay here! Helpful staff who speak English well. Common room, kitchen and free breakfast every morning cooked by local women is cute. The bathrooms are very basic but overall, based on other hostels in Uzbekistan, this one is very nice. There are no hostels in the city centre but this one is 15 minutes drive and so cheap to travel. Nice market up the road and a tavern with nice staff. Thank you Topchan
Bathrooms were absolutely filthy when we were there. Location isn’t great. Showers were atrocious, no shower head on either shower nor anywhere to put them on the wall so you just have to hose yourself down.
I liked the chill vibe.
The staff was not really nice, and the hostel did not feel clean. There was no soap or toilet paper in the bathroom for the whole day I was there, pee covering the toilet seat. Not a nice atmosphere .
Incredibly rude, lazy, and incompetent reception staff, especially the teenager running the reception. The teenager receptionist tried to barge into the women's dorm without knocking at night, continuing to push even when I said I was coming to unlock the door. Obviously toxic person. Dirty walls. Gum stuck to floor. Hot and no air conditioning. Lying about taxes, so it's maybe only $1 cheaper than the nearby hostel with AC that is way better. No loaner shoes. No lockers, obvious security risk
Honestly pretty poor, the hostel is filthy. Would have preferred to leave my shoes on rather than taking them off at the door. The soles of your feet quickly turn black. The bathrooms are equally dismal. The kitchen was a greasy mess, the hostel is full of individuals living there for extended periods of time, taking up the entirety of the small kitchen. Cooking elaborate meals and curries for hours at a time made us feel quite unwelcome. Three of us found all our food and groceries missing.
Some staff helpful. Very far away from local amenities (closest station 35 min walk). Using kitchen was very difficult as staff always in there cooking and only 4 whole for whole hostel. Favourite pasty was cold filtered water (lol). Cheap but wouldn’t really recommend.
great all around, location isn't the best but taxis are cheap
Good place to stay, close to both the train station and the airport. The toilets are vers small. Beds are comfortable.
Nice, clean hostel (cleaner works v hard), but it lacks atmosphere. It's not an way place to meet fellow solo travellers. There seems to be lots of groups staying, so it can be a bit difficult to strike up conversation. Good number of clean toilets and showers, with good water pressure. Rooms are clean but a bit cramped. Barely saw the staff and got overcharged despite showing them I'd already paid a deposit. A fair distance from the City but Yandex is cheap and public transport is availab...
Would not recommend because of lack of security and bad location. I walked in on a cleaning lady going through my stuff and smelling my cologne. This felt quite uncomfortable. Also, the dorm entry is right besides the front door which is never locked. People that are not staying at the hostel seem to be walking in and out all the time. Lastly, I did not get a locker for my stuff because half of them in the dorm were broken.
The worst service I have ever received. Booked a private room, arrived at 8pm for check in, brings me to a room that has towels, garbage, and even some clothes over the floor and bed sheets used. They took a very long time to clean making we wait outside (mind you this is 9pm at this point they had heaps of time to get it ready) After this they didn’t give me a pillow, they said they would bring but I had to remind them 3 times and took them 90 minutes to not even have a cover… disgusting...
Not a great place, not horrendous, but pretty rundown, weird vibe, not a classic hostel experience. Was cheap though.
