Dirty hostel, not very social, the staff is unfriendly

Good location right next to the beach, rooms clean and spacious. Just didnt love the top bunk it wasnt very comfortable

The rooms were nice and formatting very private. However, the kitchen was nasty, all dishes had to be washed before use to be able to eat out of. Old sponges etc. Bathrooms also nasty and basically no common bathrooms (2 which closed at 10). Not very social expect when partying. The beds were uncomfortable and the AC in the room was freezing and no proper duvet… Events hosted was fine. Our keycards kept stop working even at night which prompted a dangerous situation had someone not let us in.

Perfect location and pool and common areas were super nice and spacious!

One of the best hostels ive stayed in for a while the staff were all lovely and helped with everything especially rex who looked after all the events

Great hostel. Feels premium, safe and clean for a very affordable price Deluxe room was great with comfy beds and clean bathroom Had an issue with my card where it wasn’t wouldn’t let me in the room. Spoke to staff about it before I went out in the evening and when I returned the problem was sorted which was great! Would stay here again when I’m next in the Gold Coast

Great hostel, The party Rep Rex was great and the best thing about the hostel.

great location, close to everything you need. a spacious kitchen with the basics. I stayed in a 4female dorm, on the 'hotel' side of the hostel. wasn't really clean, beds were comfortable but the airconditioning had a 'pre-set' and we weren't allowed to change it, so the room was cold like a fridge.

Rooms were really dirty and smelt very strongly of long term lingering damp. Shower dirty and mouldy. Past the lobby the whole place is just run down. WIFI naff

I have to say the Japanese girl so rude to me, when I ask for if I can stay at the same room or I can move to 8 share but I do not want to stay at 2 level, cause I get bite by the bed bug at the room 215, the bite everywhere in my body; she not listen to me carefully, shout at me when I speaking, very bossy attitude, I mean I’m not her staff, I’m the guest, that’s very very rude.. and when she see me again, non apologize, just pretend nothing happened and say “ i already move u to anothe...

Clean. En-suite bathrooms. Not a huge socia energy but centrally located.

accidently booked a luxury room, which was really nice. the hostel wasn't that social

Decent hostel, beds are pretty good and in a great location

Rooms are good size and beds have a lot of privacy. Decent sized lockers with safes inside. Kitchen is a good size and stays clean. Literally only seconds away from beach and centre of Surfers. Very close to bus stop for greyhound buses so good for people using that and close to tram stop. Shower pressure was very weak so took slightly longer to wash but other than that the hostel is very good. Definitely recommend if wishing to stay in Surfers Paradise.
