One of my fave hostels I've stayed in

By far the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms and kitchen are not clean The carpets clearly haven’t been vacuumed in ages, and the kitchen was disgusting and smelly, cleaning is purely superficial The Wi-Fi barely works The location is misleading, the beach is not a 5-minute walk it’s like 20 or more Despite the house rules, parties never end at 10 pm, making it impossible to sleep

Some of the staff were extremely kind and helpful, others were extremely rude and unwelcoming and refused to give us sheets when we found our beds bare. It was so unclean, there was moldy food under the bunks and a giant slob of moldy soap in the shower. Lots of long term individuals, many creeps, don’t stay in a mixed dorm as a female period. It was a good location to access the Glink and the bar had good priced drinks

It was close to the Tram, which was nice. But the room was very unclean with very old furniture and kitchen. We found the atmosphere to be weird and not very welcoming. We will unfortunately not be visiting again.

Perfectly fine hostel but was unclean and there’s nice places for the same price and staff were not friendly

Basic hostel but it’s a super friendly, chilled vibe. Close to beach and tram stop :)

The only bad thing is the fact that someone came to our room at 3:45 looking for his bed and this was taken by someone else in the hostel

Good location and staff but not very clean, speaking about common area (kitchen) and room as well. Breakfast included so super nice for that!

It was alright. Definitely leans more towards long term stayers. Not the cleanest. If you’re not a party person the location is good as it is out of the main beach area.

Good location and affordable price, but the hostel lacks proper common areas. It feels more like an old roadside motel adapted into a hostel. The kitchen is very small, often crowded with dirty dishes, and the “bar” is just a tiny room with a few sofas. The only other shared space is an outdoor patio. Rooms are small, facilities outdated, and the mattresses really need replacing. Fine for a cheap stay, but don’t expect the usual hostel atmosphere.

Great location, friendly check in/out staff. Fair facilities such as laundry, pool and bar on site (which we did not use) We had an issue with mould in the room which house keeping dealt with the 2nd time we asked. The space we were in was ok bit worn down but the bathroom was covered in hairs and mould. Also be mindful of the noise from the bar / common area until 10pm it was very noisy. People here seem to be cliquey so not much socialising to be had.

Has a good time here. Would recommend this hostel to get away from the Gold Coast party vibe.

Really social and fun atmosphere. Everyone was very welcoming and the kitchen and chill out areas are great to meet and talk to people. I had a great time there! The bed was not really comfortable though.

They just took the money from my credit card even though i did not go there physically. In the policy, they say i should pay the money on arrival. But i did not go there physically and they just took 75 AUD and 10 USD for reservations. It is really annoying 😑. Do not recommend here for everyone else 🙄

We really really enjoyed staying here. This is our favourite hostel of East Coast Australia so far! Everyone was so friendly, it had such a warm feeling and community and it was really nice having a tennis court and ping pong table, lots of space and it brought everyone together. The kitchen was an amazing size and the room was a good size and the bathroom was really nice :)

It was a nice place to stay though the atmosphere seemed slightly exclusive to those who were staying longer at the hostel! No complaints though, everything was clean and aside from the noise the location was prime for getting around easily :)

Best stay I’ve ever had! Very social, great location, staff is mainly guests staying long term from all around the world. Highly recommend!

I very much liked the property since the city centre of Surfers Paradise is not the best. So I was found mostly at the resort where everyone was in for a game of table tennis or volleyball. From Wednesday to Saturday you also have some hostel events in the evening.

Staff nice, location good but with trams being cheap all location is good. We stayed in a private room and just needed some TLC. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this place.
