Really cute hostel a bit outside of town, which I really enjoyed. I stayed there 1,5 weeks and could calm down. The staff is very friendly. Also the other people in the dorm were very considerate when they came back late / got up early. Only downside is that there are fans on every bed instead of AC (which is okay regarding heat, but a little bit noisy at night. With earplugs I could sleep anyway)
Such a nice chilled Hostel, it’s calm and you have some nice hang out areas. Everything tidy and clean, staff were very kind. Next time gonna be stay there again for sure.
Great place as a solo traveller. It was very quite and not very social able but I don’t know if that was because of the cyclone and the island being quiet.
Ruhige Lage, super liebe Mitarbeiter, Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung. Leider keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur Ventilatoren.
Great chill place!! I had a really nice week here thanks for everything Friendly and helpful staff, clean, lots of nice places to chill around the hostel
Really the best hostel I stayed at the coast
Super nice house, more laidback atmosphere. Very kind staff.
Very clean place, beautiful garden outside of busy area and super friendly owners. They can arrange anything for you. Since there’s only one 6-bed dorm, it’s not super social.
Makai surf house was a nice place to stay but a few touches could increase the overall experience when compared to other accomodation for the same price. However, check in was very easy and the room was clean and tidy. Would recommend having a tuktuk or motorbike if staying here to help get around and there was good parking space available.
We stayed for a week and were able to extend by one night. We really enjoyed it. Thanks 🌺☺️✨ PS: renting a scooter is a good choice to get around :)
We received the warmest welcome from Thigali and her son Daham. They made us feel so relaxed and at home for our 3 night stay. The house was absolutely SPOTLESS. There are lots of comfy couches and hammocks to chill on and the setting is very peaceful - surrounded by beautiful nature. One thing we should mention is that the 6 bed dorm room does not have AC - we thought it did but only the private rooms do. Fortunately we each had a fan at the end of our bed so the heat was bearable.
