Sunflower Cat Ba by Secret Garden

Incredible value for a private room! Super nice 6th floor room - clean and spacious, comfy bed, nice bathroom, great location (having access to secret garden hostel is a perk). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice but cheap private room!

Ich war sehr zufrieden. Restaurant und Bar sind eigentlich in dem dazugehörigen Hostel auf der anderen Straßenseite, im Sunflower Hostel waren wir nur zum Schlafen

Nice hotel to stay in in Cat Ba, up the hill. Staff is super helpful and location is 20 min walking from the beach!

Lovely hotel, very comfortable room and bed and just opposite the hostel for when you want some social vibes. I rented a bike one of the days to go out to the national park which was perfect. lots of restaurants around this area too.

One of the best place I've been in Vietnam. With this hotel you have access to the secret garden hostel facility: the comfort of an hotel and the social life of an hôstel. The room are really good (honestly better than some 3 start hotel I had in Canada). The location is great. Only down side is the cleaning lady that will wake you up screaming at 11am to give you 2 bottle of water and clean towels (advice for the hotel, give a way for the people to say they don't want to be disturbed)

Very satisfied with Sunflower Hotel! The staff are super friendly and helpful — they helped me book tours, buses, and even rent a motorbike. When booking a tour, you also get free laundry (3 kg ) or a free motorbike for one day — such a nice bonus! The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom has a glass shower, and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, there’s absolutely nothing to complain about!

Ik heb zonder telefoon gereisd dus ik moest uitgaan van de adviezen van andere. Ik ben blij dat ik hier heb geslapen. Het eten was goed, bedden prima en de ligging ook. Mocht je trouwens benieuwd zijn naar hoe het is om zonder telefoon te reizen. Ik heb er een podcast over gemaakt genaamd: Uit je scherm, in het leven. Ga het zeker checken op Spotify!

Overall good experience. Showers were hot. Room itself was clean. Bathroom was a bit damp/aged. Staff was friendly. The breakfast is very minimalistic since you get one option during early hours and no drinks.

The hotel accommodation is really good for the price and use of the hostel next doors social facilities mean you don’t miss out at all on being able to make friends!
